It's nice that you can just go & walk around these areas, very relaxing. I like that, because I do the same thing, just walk around residential neighbourhoods, very gratifying.
Those lovely pink flowers are bougainvillea, they grow well in the tropics and are bee friendly. Nice breezy area. At the green house, make a u turn. 😅😅
The intro music in this video just reminds me of Nanabas Kitchen.I love watching her cooking vids too. Why roads are not paved? It will looked neat with paved roads.Just my opinion.Beautiful vids though
Yes, yes and yess! More of these please 🙏 And as always, thank you for uploading! I like all of your vids, you always have such interesting things to show about Ghana Mepa wo ky3w 🙂
Do you know the sakumono area used to be a lake join to the sea that is why there is a bridge but just dried off, we used to go fishing in the sakumono lake
Jasmine, if any of your viewers can share it with Abena Dapaah that if her ministry (Sanitation) and Dan Kweku Botwe's (local authority) would like to team up to make Ghana the cleanest African country, then they should pay attention to: 1. Sidewalks - cover the gutters; 2. Trees - promote tree planting everywhere, and 3. Signposts and Kiosks - move them off the pavement and ensure they are organized. Local authority can fine indiscriminate location of signboards and kiosks.
Why gutters gutters? The streets can be designed to drain into bigger covered drains. The streets must be slightly converse in structure and the elevated sides bordering the side walks direct the flow of water to the receptacles. Much cleaner and practical. The gutters only collect trash and debris and in addition serve as breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
Spot on Nana. I would also say the planning authority need to zone off areas allowable for trading so that the nightmare of having an unruly neighbor potentially tuning their garage into a pub or supermarket can be controlled along with the noise pollution that comes with it. then and only then will the communities in Ghana transform. Lastly for a country as green as Ghana is, what is this passion for artificial turf???
@@sandraagyemang9099 Well said Sandra. I bet the challenge is with supervision of the workforce because all the funds invested in artificial turfs could be used to employ more parks and gardens staff. Too many decisions are politically driven with the parties trying to outdo each other instead of long term planning.
@@NanaKNOwusu Thank you Nana your are so right. we remain hopeful that the plan to clean Accra and other cities and towns will yield more permanent solutions from better engagement with city planning departments. you are a patriot!
You look very happy Jazzy 💗. I love the area btw. This area kind of reminds me of Portmore in Jamaica 🤩 I'd definitely live here. Not too deep in Tema, not too far from Accra.
Jasmine this is why I enjoy your channel, every comment made by us, me about anything you learn from them and your videos are show us how you appreciate the comments and you incorporate the comments. That's why I love your videos very very nice area, nice job and you gave us lots of information. I love that. Keep listening ♥ 👌 👍.
This area of Ghana is really beautiful and serene. I definitely like videos like this and look forward to seeing more. About how far would you say it's from Accra?
So the idea is since we have been able to build such beautiful 😍 houses like that, we should come together ❤ and forget about the gv. Conturct our nice 👌 road and street lights plant our trees and make it a world class for ourselves.
I have a couple of friends who live in Tema. I had no idea there are so many communities! What a nice place you've shown us, thanks! It's not everyday you see a lime green home and well ...never a "chicken" that crows? At least, here is Texas, only our Roosters crow. The hens of course do cackle up a storm! Lol
Hi Jasmine, the home and the flower landscaping are beautiful. Awesome area. WOW!!!!! HAPPY EASTER to you Jasmine. I believe your just as beautiful as the homes and flowers. 😊😉 Have a great Easter Sunday. Good job on your video. Thanks. 😘
Loved this. Many of us work remotely now and wanted to know if you could include how the internet service is at these locations. Knowing the average upload and download speeds would be very helpful. I would definitely be interested in Community 13.
I forgot to add from my other comment is I noticed two ✌ things the people who eent or owning that neighborhood is doing a lot of the road improvements themselfs by adding sidewalks and adding gravel in front of their homes.. Second in this area it appears to have trash pick-up. The area doesn't have litter everywhere. That means growth and pride in a community. Very Nice.
Like everything else in Ghana, it will only take just a little effort from local government and property owners to make Ghana beautiful. Property owners must plant trees (fruits and flowers) inside and outside their compounds. Local authority must fix the roads - even palm kernel shells can replace gravels. We need Home Owners Associations who will challenge the local authorities. Public servants don't understand their responsibilities and no one holds them accountable. One Ghanaian, one tree 🌴
Ghana is beautiful the way it is coming from a American. What does the cement roads do ? Is it better for rainy season? Or just for the looks. In America the south has dirt roads only the city has cement/ pavement. People like the country life more quiet more space and privacy more soil to plant
@@ishaw9894 The compounds inside these walled homes are manicured but there is neglect of the common areas outside the walls. I can't wait to launch my landscaping business. If someone beats me to it, fine. HOAs or Resident Associations will speed up development.
NOT TRUE,still some very good beaches in Accra like Bojo beach, next door beach,Kokrobite etc.The best beaches in Ghana are in the Western and Volta regions
@@kennykross3306 Last time I was there it was littered with rubbish in some areas of the beach. I'm not saying this to deter people from going there, I'm just saying how it is. If you feel it's good enough for you then fine. I will be exploring other places because choices are available. 😄
@@Yveness when do u go . Last year for most part labadi wasn't open . Moroever, me usually when I go to the beach in ghana are either go to the western region or Ada is much more relaxing
I make sure you get your thumbs up for this successful video again Jasmine I love the sphere and those noises around then you know yes I am I back home and that fan milk biker makes me feel good Ok Jasmine Ama thank you for your efforts Akpe nawo Greetings from Amsterdam
Nice and quiet area love that green house and is that a pink house across the street from green house? Love it. Forgive me I forgot to say hello queen, enjoy.
@@JasmineAmaa Thanks for the quick response!! I will be traveling to Ghana this June to look for housing in PramPram and Tema. Tema is my second choice to live because We want to be within walking distance from the ocean. Keep up the great work and maybe one day we could meet.
Nice, but is there a "best area" to live? It all depends on what someone wants. please check the upper east. Bolgatanga, Navrongo. This are nice towns.
Interesting!!! The new estates are for sale??? If yes, any contact please that will be GREAT!!! Love those new ones Thanks for all these amazing things Love yeah 👍👍💖💖💕💕
Yo Ama, just remember the pact we made last year. Whereever you reserve a lot to build your dream home, you must inform the agent that you have a brother who will need to reserve a lot, too. That is because I am building my dream home next door to you! It shall be so exciting to become your next door neighbour!
Very decent homes, and a nice area. But what’s going on with some of the roads inside the area, they are unpaved. 😂😂 Jasmine, that wasn’t a chicken in the background, it’s a rooster 🐓 😂. One love from NYC.
@@TheFreshPrinceofWakanda , thank you for that information. In my Country of birth, it’s the same. However, the Government of Jamaica and the Developer must have paved roads in place prior to building houses. Thanks for your input, one love from NYC.
