I bought this CPU cooler after seeing your video. I upgraded my Ryzen 3 up to a Ryzen 9 with 16 cores. I tried putting it in my existing case with a stock AMD cooler and sitting on idle the temperature of the CPU was like 90 degrees. It was horrific. So after this video I bought this cooler along with the magnetic cover for the cooler and put it into the Corsair 4000D Airflow case instead of my old case which was getting the high temps and now idle temperature now is like in the mid 30's. Huge difference. Thanks for sharing this video.

As someone who works in audiovisual media I recommend using mouthwash before recording. It prevents the tongue from sticking to the mouth's inner walls or the teeth and prevents the noises I hear in this video. They're really annoying and may send the wrong message about you. Keep up the good work. The review was great.

This is a great cooler! Depending on your CPU though I would not recommend installing the fans so that they are flush with the noctua cover. With my 5900x I noticed a difference of a few degrees between the two positions. Which is all the difference in the world because when I had them flush the fans would ramp up and down because they were not evacuating heat as efficiently. The slight change back to direct coverage on the heatsink made a big difference in noise levels.

Hmmm you have a great tests of coolers and fans! :O I LIKE it! Subscrubed! You must test Alpenföhn Brocken 3 next! White Edition ideal I have 2700x, CinebenchR23 power consumption 125-130Watt same as you have at your overclocked 1700x processor! and with Alpenföhn Brocken 3 I have 71C degrees with 25C in room. I want see tests on your system! :) will be same or not

I purchased the same noctua cooler and i have two cpu fan header on my motherboard. Is it ok to use two fans on one header. Or better to go for sperate cpu fan header? Thank u

Hey. You can safely use both fans on the same header. Moat boards do 1A and these fans are like 0.14A each so plenty of headroom. 👍

What is better CPU cooling for 7800X3D ? D15 or U12A ? I think, in Fractal Torrent (2x180mm, 3x140mm) will be more airy with U12A than D15.

Wow 😅 I mean that's spot on, maybe out of a job soon🤣. Not much I can add. I don't have that cpu to confirm but either way, they should do the job if you are set on air. Otherwise, an AIO 360 since these CPUs, I think they will use all the cooling headroom available.

Hm if the temps are high then yes, I would get the U12A for peace of mind. That's the avg tdp per say, marketing. Same as Intel with their PL1 and PL2 levels. Every AMD CPU from 3000 including goes above that advertised tdp level. Total power in full load and max boost will be around 140w for that CPU. 12 cores will dump a lot of heat.

Can I attach be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 fans on the heatsink instead of the NF-A12x25s that came with it? Noctua cooler with non Noctua fans, an abomination, I know, but these fans are simply capable of moving more air.

Those CPUS are like lava and highly volatile in the voltage spikes and PL1 & PL2 profiles. I would suggest 360 AIOs considering your workload.

Hi Rafael. Yes, it should be, but just for stock usage. Similar performance to a D15S but smaller package. If you plan to OC than AIO 280mm and above. Hope this helps 👍
