beethoven's moonlight sonata 1st movement took me 2 months to learn by heart and actually have fun playing it...this took me 4 months to learn by heart, now here's a start to another 4 months or more to master it. Don't give up! thanks for this beautiful piece!

@@aamirnagaria2189 i still struggle with them...i get better if i practice two-three keys at a time and practice the transition from thumb to middle finger and vice versa.

First movement can be for early beginners but Noctrune20 is for advanced players

@@Lawyer_Morty Yes, I think most people are aware of that... but I found the dynamics of it very pleasing as well, which is what I presume he was commenting on. Trills, especially in a romantic tone like here, are not as easy to execute as it seems. There's more to it than simply mashing fingers alternately rapidly.

my favorite song--marking my journey. day 2: 2 min in day 3: 2:21 min in day 7: 2:40 min in Day 14: 3:15-- I really was dreading this last section, but it wasn't too difficult to pick up (it's all about fingering) Day 17: 4:07

The notes can be easy or Hard, but the feelings and atmosphere of piece is more important. Notes are just a alphabet of the poem. But reading that poem is more significant... Good listenings.

Let's say in part. If you want to know the piece at the end of that film is called ballade n.1 in minor from chopin. The protagonist was obessesioned with his music and you can see how good he is at interpreting his compositions

(wikipedia) This was also the piece played by Holocaust survivor and famed Polish pianist Władysław Szpilman (the central figure of the 2002 Roman Polanski film The Pianist) during the last live broadcast of Polish radio on September 23, 1939 when Warsaw was besieged by the German army.[5] Years later Szpilman also played this piece for German army officer Wilm Hosenfeld upon their first meeting[
