One thing you might want to consider is running all your applications in Docker containers! If your Raspberry pi is just running docker, and all your various apps are actually containers in Docker it'll get much easier to manage. For example my Pi has docker installed and I run 12 containers including NodeRed ect... Not all applications are available in a docker container, but most are, and those that don't currently have a container, it's fairly easy to create your own container. Then you can use Portainer to manage your containers/apps and it becomes much easier to see what app is having problems and it's easy to restart individual apps without unstabilizing the other apps.

I'll look into Docker. Thanks for the suggestion!

Fantastic, thank you for sharing. Makes it really easy to follow and reproduce step by step! How much amperage does the system draw in total?

At the moment, it all draws under 3 amps. I suspect I’ll be at 5-7 when done. Thanks!

Truncate? Ok for depth, I guess (pessamistic) but wind speed and bearing? Nah!

I know I know. Precision not required during testing, just trying to pretty things up!

Could a lot of these failures be because of bad electricity (unclean wave)? or bad voltage?

Maybe. I’ll look into this.

@@TheFloridaCaptain Look into fitting a 12v regulator on the supply side of your electronics. This will keep the output at 12v regardless of what the input voltage is doing.
