It is a streamer playstyle. They aren't thinking about the game because they are busy talking to the next lowest common denominator that paid 5 dollars.
I am screaming at the top of my lungs because this guy decided to buy more damage SEVERAL times even after he was able to one shot enemies instead of buying more health
I want to say that I appreciate you Wander, you don't say things like "I like this you should buy it" you instead endorce writing reviews and that attitude makes a big difference.
I really like your channel as a telescope into the worlds of small indie games, mostly incremental and rougelikes, which I'm always hankering to get more of I've probably gotten 4 games you've showcased here at this point
I mean for 3 bucks. Sure why not. it looks like fun. Its always great to see you highlight a game i would never have heard about that i would end up enjoying.
I think some minor quality of life can go a long way here: move the prestige selector to the skill tree to save a click, and show your resources collected for the run while you're in a run. A double-speed button could also be a neat idea.
As a young game developer i really like when content creators play these not so popular games. A game doesn't have to be a battler royale or a FPS to be fun, these unique games are what the future of videogames is.
According to my food handler's class years back, raw potatoes can give you botulism, so I've always been super intentional about making sure they are fully cooked.
Yep, botulism is definitely right down the bottom of things you want to get (plus if they're a little green, cooking them can reduce the tropanes present and make you a little less likely to have a severe reaction)
Just played it, took me 3.5 hours to complete with all achievements. Not that long, but long enough for me. Had fun playing it and for 3€ you cant complain!
I noticed the game around release and seeing how much attention it got since then is great. Really cool of you to remind people to leave a review too, it indeed got past 200 reviews 👍
Thanks for the recommendation! I bought it, and finished it in 4 hours. Not bad for $4 canadian. I posted a review on steam with a thank you also, cause you totally deserve it Wander!
Hi Wanderbot. You talked about how you wouldn't know how much of an impact you had to this game so I am here to tell you I bought the game purely based on watching your video. I got hooked and subsequently finshed the game in about 6 hours. I left a positive review on steam and mentioned you as the reason I bought it. Thanks for the great video and entertaining commentary!
This looks like exactly the kind of game I get into, thanks! Picked it up from this video. Edit: 3-4 hours to complete. Solid for the price and something you can come back to since it's pretty chill. It doesn't really need any doublespeed options since it's already so short.
Yo, thx for the preview of the game. bought it yesterday and forgot about the time while playing^^.approx 6 hours for all achievments, probably less if better played xP
I'm severely ADHD, so it's hard for me to get into games that are slow and chill, but that's why I enjoy videos like yours, since it allows me to see games I wouldn't otherwise play.
I like me some raw potato slices with a bit of salt. Something we'd do when my dad would prepare some potatoes for meals and we'd run over and snarch one before he'd be able to shoo us away. Terrible with Russets though, I don't get how anyone likes those bitter tubers.
Totally get you mentality with wanting to boost the visibility of this game definitely deserves it, DangerouslyFunny would love this hope it gets onto his radar millions would see it in a week i recon that would definitely boost this game
The game's concept is really good. I hope the Dev sees this comment: Please add some Quality of Life updates. I'll buy the game right away An example would be a Visual Indicator for "Reload" time
A big part of the whole Crypto thing is just Fear Of Missing Out. It's all "this *will* go to the moon, so get in early!" this, "If you don't buy in now, it'll cost a fortune to get in later!" that. Hype to the Nth degree. All aimed at the part of the brain that's good at making split-second decisions, but terrible at considering the long-term consequences.
raw potatoes are in fact bad you can take a bite or two but eating a whole one is dangerous and you probably shouldn't even take a bite due to risks of some food borne illnesses.
Damn, I always thought that Splattercat was the first guy to showcase Vampire Survivors, but the YT timestamp actually puts your video on it a whole day ahead of his. I stand corrected. Henceforth, I shall refer to you as Wanderbots, the Vampire-Survivors-Guy. Credit, where credit is due.
Lmao I recently played Guild Wars 2. Was checking out Final Fantasy but decided to go with GW. I didn't know it was still being updated 12 years after release.
This one game i play on my phone called bitcoin billionaire came out back when crypto was really not taken very seriously and its just really about being a turbo nerd and i like that, but then crypto became an actual thing and like damn :( and then the dev team made nfts like damn :(
While I do agree that the glamorization of cryptocurrency is bad, at least in this game it seems to be on theme; it has a bit of a computer programmy motif, with the “termination” splash text and upgrades like “antivirus.”
Is there a way to turn the flashing off on energy kills and the white screen transitions?? This game looks soo fun, but I wouldn’t be able to play it as it is now.
it would be a lot more interesting if instead of coloured shapes the 'enemies' were, say asteroids? or any other thing like i like minimalist games and yeah its an indie game, but im tired of cool concepts with unflattering graphics/UIs just my thoughts, still a cool game
I'm so confused .. why WHY haven't you purchased the health on enemy death upgrade??? Like it was mentioned once at first, and then avoided like the bubonic plague after that. It's driving me insane
15:30 Easy to make, hard to make fun. "Number go up" only gets you so far. You have to make the HOW fun, and too many ideas for doing that have been overused.
first game on steam i have seen with a vulcan graphics requirement no idea what it was why do so many games that are pixel type have such insane graphics requirments like i can play minecraft terraria and even trove which is a pixel mmo game and yet this game wont launch because of the vulcan thing very sad but i guess i will just ignore this game like so many others
