If you watch the behind the scenes of this, which is on here. When they do a rehearsal before they do it live, Serge picks out Leicester City in the rehearsal too, so for him to do it again at the real draw is amazing.
Thanks for recording this, I missed it live! Knew that Noel and Serge were drawing it and when I heard Leicester had got Man City I just had to see it! Many thanks once again. Fantastic: the clip & the draw!!!
@usdream the host says that he isn't sure many people in manchester will share that kind of emotion about the draw, probably because leicester city away isn't exactly the most glamorous of cup draws for man city!
@IamLav You have to be joking? It would take longer to write the question out nevermind the reply. It says FA cup all over the shop. What else is it going to be?
@peaco1000 Not quite. Odds are 63/1 of meeeting, and 126/1 of Leicester being at home. Think about it. Apart from Leicester, there are 63 other teams with equal chance of being drawn against any one of them. Of course, it's 50/50 that Leicester would be at home, so halve the odds. (Odds only get astronomical if you figure in them specifically being the 25th and 26th (or whatever it was) teams drawn) So, there you go - odds were 126/1 of that happening.
@TheHauntedFall Well I'm a United fan and looking our draw in the FA Cup this year, the draw just seemed too perfect for the FA in terms of revenue etc, put it this way 3rd round Liverpool massive local rivalry, 5th round Crawley David vs Goliath 6th round Arsenal another big rivalry and semi final United v City - all just screams that it's rigged up for maximum TV exposure?
If looking from oasis to kasabian is any indicator what type of bands are going to be the biggest in the uk in 10 years time, lame or what? Rock and Roll my arse.
