"And I sit them down on a little stool made of ice and it melts and they lower down and yeah and they lose their confidence" is the best random detail I've ever heard
Funny man but wouldn't call that stand up. Looked a bit needy and awkward. Much like Gervais had the office this boy did the boosh! That is the thing with originality only ever a temporary phase
I love Noel, if you dont get some of his jokes then you're just grown is all. Even if some of the humor is immature it doesn't make it bad. Noel is always commenting on how imagination is important!
Androgynous.....he makes my loin's ache. Noel has a gift. He can see life through a children's eyes. All most of Adults are jaded in someway. No prejudice coming from him.
You can hear the audience laughing, but from the sounds of it they have only recorded the mic he is using (which is only really meant for stuff a few inches away) and didn't mic up the crowd, which is why they sound so quiet.
I really do like Noel, but the problem is that he uses the same exact stuff, word for word, in all of his gigs. It's like a weird deja vu, I've heard this a million times, kind of thing.
+Emily Parks the mighty boost is the culmination of years and years of practice and experimentation of his and julians ideas, just enjoy the madness :)
he inarguably has one of the most random comedy sets in Comedy History. imagine if he wrote a childrens book, it would be like an acid trip on paper lmao!!!
Bessie Z Not always, some of us are just very much in communication with our inner child, he's like a Roald Dahl for adult-children. 'Comedy' doesnt have to have you falling off your chair to be entertaining.
i don't know if the audience didn't get into him so much as the sound from the audience is turned down. halfway through the audience they started clapping his punchlines and it just sounds like it's a bit quiet.
an oblong is a rectangle with rounded edges OR a shape that is longer than it is wide. an oval is not an oblong because its longer sides are not parallel
Markos H It's called surrealist humour, bizarre for the sake of being bizarre. It's not supoosed to make sense, so if you sat there trying to make sense of it all and could not... he's doing it well. You Americans really need to learn to broaden your horizons.
Describing Noel Fielding as a Comedian, is like suggesting diarrhoea is Pleasant! I found his style of humour about as enjoyable as an interrupted Wank!
