Someone you might create a family with, if you want you can get children with the person. I think thats something valueable, like real value, not just party and ONS. There is nothing wrong with doing it, but just ask yourself if this is moving you forward in your life or maybe just holding you back.

On no fap, you are forced to face those demons, and perhaps find a solution. However, concerning whether one should do hard mode temporarily or for life.....this makes me wonder if it's all about being addicted to dopamine and unable to only get it from within, rather than without. Why do you think semen retention means you can't enjoy a relationship with someone? that's the first thing, and the other thing is why we have to become like a monk and do things weirdly? Why can't we just do the middle way as you said, which to me is doing the semen retention gradually and let yourself reap the benefits naturally. Starting with 1 day and each time doing it for 1 day more until you reach whatever your balance state is... I doubt you need to go for more than 2 or 3 weeks ultimately . That way you're building your stamina for it, and also you're being kind to your body and giving it time to get used to the new way.
