I have lived in Hyderabad , Chennai , Pune and in Ghaziabad. I have recently moved to gurgaon and it was a pathetic decision. GURGAON Is a city of dust and dirt. Only dlf and golf course are the area which are good but they are super expansive. 2 bhk rental is almost 50 thousand. And the whole city is under construction full of dust. With a little rain, it becomes like a drain. Gurugram is the highest earning city for Haryana, and the Haryana government should make it a better and livable city. As of now, this city is just a shitty place.
In future, 20-30 years from now, as Noida International Airport comes up, Gautam Budh Nagar would be a bigger, better city than Gurugram. Gurugram's problem is its crumbling infrastructure. For last 20 years, Gurugram got more investment because (a) it was closer to the Delhi Airport and (b) because of poor law and order of U.P. Honestly, people did not want to settle down in U.P. Slowly, that will change and so will attitude of investors. Future development in Gurugram can only happen away from the airport, whereas in GB Nagar, a new city, perhaps more modern and planned than Delhi, is about to come up around the airport. Gurugram will remain a satellite city of Delhi but GB Nagar has potential to become a twin city of Delhi because of the upcoming Noida International Airport. For that, all GB Nagar needs now is a good railway connection.

Greater Noida relevance. Sir what you said about Greater NOIDA was relevant may be till 3-4 years back. Now the story is totally different. 27 Kms of Noida- Greater expressway now looks better than Cyber Hub gurgaon. Here rates are 25k for any residential project. Its urban, cosmopolitan and flashy. Rates are nowhere less than 16k per square feet for any residential across greater noida. Godrej Golf link, Sobha, M3M, all converging to Greater Noida now. All MNCs (Google, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Dixon, NTT, Hyundai) have acquired large land parcels on Taj expressway around jevar airport. Please visit and see the latest.
Both cities are good...but After jewar airport and it companies are now coming in noida.... future looks promising on the basis of return on investment
Noida, Greater noida and yamuna expressway are leasehold of about 90 years whereas delhi and gurgaon are totally freehold. This makes a big difference because if you own plots the authorities keep on troubling you.

The choice is obvious .. Navi Mumbai /Mumbai followed by Hyd and then Pune (Navi Mumbai if you're middle class ; Mumbai if you're rich ) Ye aadmi to Gurgaon gurgaon karte rehta hai . he is biased! If you move from any main road to gully , you will see the dirt of Gurgaon . It's barely tolerable . Plus it's not safe for women ... Paani bijli dono ka problem alag !
I stay in Gurgaon, as compared to gurgaon, I didn't liked Noida to be very fact. Infrastructure, culture, and NOIDA appears to be Industrial area For me Gurgaon, got strong energy
