The clip is from Cyber City Oedo 808 (1990-1991). The cop here investigating the problem is Shunsuke Sengoku, and the name of the wired 'dead' corpse with the name Y-Amachi (Yoshikazu Amachi) who's hijacked the whole system has a long history in this.
I like how the robot/AI that Sengoku killed couldn't possibly imagine/calculate that he would take the most suicidal path and come towards him in a straight line without continuing to try and dodge out of the way of its attacks....
Ya what the hell? Why would anyone care about some old ass youtube vids. Noir was 3-4 years old and I loved watching it. Especially when you're a bit buzzed or something Ooo just gives you goose bumps. Also great for comic ideas and such. Just gets your mind flowing.
This was so fucking bawler, I mean he fucking defeats this undead nightmare because it's probability engine could not conceive of the possibility that he would not dodge to avoid its oncoming attacks.
only japanese artists at that time were able to put up this kind of dystopian craftsmanship and their style from back then is still unparalled up till today...even their own kind did not want to or could not continue this unique style... and in the end we got the neverending story of moe and isekai...
Just bought the album and noticed the version of this song on it is kinda different at 1:46 to 3:32. Anyone else notice that? I like this version better.
This tune could be epic. Its only downfall is that it doesn't deliver enough melody early on, it's shrouded by alot of unnecessary things. Underneath it all it's still a great tune, but it should've been epic. And it nearly is. 8 out of 10 for me.

When I searched on google, I ended up on the soundcloud of "Keyixa'' soundcloud.com/keyixa/noir-deco-cyberpolis Does this mean that Keyixa made the song and it is called: " Noir Deco - Cyberpolis" and is not from "Noir Deco"??? I'm confused o_O
Sounds a little different than the RU-vid one, is it because quality is different? Or are the instruments different? I feel like the vocal pads are a little more prominent.
RU-vid has re-coded old videos that were only 240 or 360 to AVC and VP9. Being re-encodes of the low-quality source, they look even worse now. Maybe the author of this video can reupload it so it's not a copy of a copy?
