Does anyone else judge if they're going to watch a movie by the way the cover or front looks? Or is it just me?

A widow moves to Canada to get better treatment for his autistic daughter. The task of raising an autistic child and problems with work are difficult to cope with and he loses it under the stress. Their new home is haunted and he soon begins to believe that the spirit of his dead wife is communication with him through their child. He is unaware that it is actually an evil spirit that is haunting them.

My elder bro was epileptic and had celebral palsy. The world is so cruel, majority in the society doesn't know how draining it is to have a special child. They will show their negativity gossiping plainly without a care in the world. This movie reminds me of u Martin. (died 2018 at the age of 34) continue resting in power darling.

Good ending. The young actress did a good job with her autistic mannerisms. We have several children with autism in our family.

This movie should be titled..Tales of an abusive father! I have an autistic child! No child should suffer the pains of their parents addictions & abuse! Didnt scare me at all! Just felt sorry for the indigo child!

Horror movie fanatic and you know I'll tell it straight forward if it was a terrible or excellent movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was engrossed in this movie. Excellent choice. Thank you for the upload.

Obviously the mother did all of the taking care of this child. This poor man is grieving his wife's death, but I really don't think he loves this child sufficiently to deal with her because he makes mistakes you don't even do with a normal child. Parents sometimes feel guilty about putting their children in special schools/institutions but, really, often times the child is happier away from parents who make them feel like a millstone around the neck and who are always yelling at them.

The shop keeper has such a keen sense of humor..I absolutely love this guy🤣😂❤🤣😂❤🤣😂❤🤣😂

WOW I really enjoyed this film. I was beginning to think I had to accept that watching horror films means bad acting (90% seem to be!!) but this film has given me hope. Original plot and good acting. Thank you for giving me hope 😀

This is the most heart wrenching story I've seen so far, however I still don't want to believe that there are people in the world still to self centered to see outside of themselves and their own pessimistic views

Amazing movie!! Great one for the day after Halloween. The struggle with autism is like this times 7. I have had an upstairs neighbor for a year and at first was really tempted to call DCFS, because of thumps and screams. I knew they had a non-verbal 2 yr. Old. One day was sitting on front porch and heard the entirety. The tireless calm of the mom, the patience of a saint in grandma. I have Mad respect for parents to autistic kids.

I love and respect the Kings of Horror. I didn't make the premier because of work. Watching it now sending positivity

I feel for the dad! Hard under ordinary conditions. Imagine your kid being haunted too! Ouch The shop owner added the perfect amount of comedy to break up the heaviness. Brilliant movie! Awesome acting!

All those Polaroid pictures per hour can't be cheap... Nice mansion though. 💰💰💰💰💰. I don't think the writers thought it there on the part where his daughter he loves is getting serious treatment she needs, and he's complaint he wants to go back to work.

Bring you more Emmy? LOL? If you intended this as some kind of experimental film you certainly have succeeded. Bring mom here? and there Zandra was and she probably would make a better "mom" for Emmy.The number 8 or/and the infinity sign? The parents certainly had money but too much materialism and vanity could bring numerological 8 people misery. Two triangles as the sign of the "keeper"? Did you throw them out there just to see what sticks or they were meant to have a deeper meaning? Triangles have two meanings depending on their position. When pointing up, they represent stability and power, when pointing down they become unstable. The triangle is primarily a masculine shape, but when inverted it also represents female reproduction. And the two converging in the middle but also sharing the shape of the number 8? I have no clue? No one beat me up please but why did it feel almost "Freudian" when Emmy says "daddy" at the end of the film. Is that why she couldn't speak? This is why guys have fun watching movies but don't think too deeply about them, but then again who's going to bring you the Emmy if we don't, right?

The sad thing is the poor girl lost both of her parents her Mom in a car accent and her Dad trapped in his body ::::

It's hard for me to watch a child with any kinda mental health issue. Even if it's just acting. My heart went out to that lil girl. She was experiencing something and her dad's only way to deal with her issues was to yell,drink and pop pills. The really sad part is that this is a everyday real life experience.
