I would still be a fan through whatever change you make. I still haven't heard a song I haven't liked. Keep making the music you love and fans will pull through. ♡ Thank you for sharing your passion and being such real, down to earth people.
Tame Impala is pretty much just an outlet for Kevin. Kevin writes and records pretty much all of it, if he could play it all live, he'd probably give it a go, but he can't, he needs a band behind him to do that, and so Jay et al join him. Jay gets credit where it's due in terms of his own projects, such as Pond, etc.
Retro in time though and u found lennon in thensky with diamons . I mean .. Is has been done before kev . Now i applaud your interepretation and well that big vhunk of pop u add to your music . Cheers
it can't always be easy to just be in the shadow of kevin... jay is also an amazing musician and songwriter, but when he plays in tame impala he never gets any credit, since everyone talks to and about kevin. so i think that jay feels abit unappreciated and therefore a bit angry maybe. it's just a theory tough. go Jay and Kev!
Why would he get any credit though? He doesn't write or perform on the album, apart from the worst part of Elephant (those crappy synth solos). Pond are a band in their own right and you don't see Kevin getting credit for playing drums with them. Jay should be happy (and I'm sure he is) that Kevin let him come along for the ride.
