In 1.0, if your starting flask is acceleration, you can use the speed to go from the tree branch where the egg is, onto the cliff!

There are so many clever uses of the environment in Noita. Hard to get bored of this game. I still enjoy setting fire to everything on the entire level, lol. Beautiful flame simulation.

Fury! I found a trick. If you get the flute wand from the tree put increase mana and luminous drill into it, by doing that you will get an extremely effective and accurate digging wand. It may be useful considering that the tree can now be destroyed by just regular digging bolt (checked) and you can immediately craft it (uses only 2 spells). Works as well if luminous drill is within a timer (that's the one I used). P.S. also found some minor curiosities inside the bark.

Thanks. I've never tried putting stuff on the music wand/s. I've got a BUNCH of new videos coming soon, covering most things from 1.0. There are still a *few* mysteries, but I'm working on a lot. They're also sneaking new content and changes in with the little patches they've been releasing today :D

I am glad that i could help and Ooooo you HAVE to play with the music wand! I was tampering with it a lot today and it turns out that since you have increase mana, next make sure that the wand has 0 cast delay (single spell / multicasts) and find some way to reduce recharge time. If we managed to still fit below the increase mana threshold, the music wand is resulting certain stats: (o mana usage, 0 cast delay, 0 recharge time), what makes it fires whatever it takes PER FRAME! (note: due to the recoil certain spells also makes you flying). Sorry for the mass of typing I think I am just hyped soo much as everyone else.

Can one of your next Noita videos be about how tf wands work? I'm still so confused about how they work how constructing spells works what shuffle means what all the different stats do for you, why there are wands with like 5 of the same spell stacked up even if it doesn't seem like a finite spell but the custom wands don't seem to be like this,

I can't find a wand making guide video on your channel. I don't know so much even after 100 hours lol. Why are spells spaced out? Why is there only a chance of the spell working?

I haven't made a general wand-making guide yet, since I like to make sure my videos are very well-researched and even though I've been playing this game for a year and almost 900 hours, I'm still learning a lot about wand-building. One of these days I'll make a step-by-step and very in-depth guide, but that's a video that will take a long time to make (even this one took me a few weeks to make from beginning to end.) To answer your questions though, the spells are spaced out simply to make the build easier to understand on video and I could mention each piece of it separately (the spell being cast is heal projectile, the reduce lifetimes and ping pong path are what make it infinite, the 2 boomerangs are what allow it to stick to you so well, the drilling shot allows it to move through the ground and the piercing is what allows it to heal you repeatedly on contact.) There is only a chance of the spell becoming infinite because it's basically a math glitch in the game's code. The devs have since officially stated that it's a glitch that they intend on keeping in the game, since they like it. That's cool, since making infinite spells is fun!

Why two reduce life time extended it to infinity?

Well, because each Reduce Lifetime reduces the lifetime of a spell by -42, for -84 total. Then the Ping-Pong Path increases the lifetime by +25. That particular spell (Heal Projectile) has a lifetime of 60 and when the lifetime is brought to 1 then it becomes infinite. Half the spells require a lifetime of 1 to be infinite and half the spells require a lifetime of -1 to be infinite. Lots of testing is required to find that out.

The developers have officially said that it's an unintended feature (or bug) but that they're keeping it in because they like it. So, no, you don't have to feel bad about doing this. Besides, I speedrun the game and take advantage of any bugs/features/glitches/shortcuts I can until they are patched. I'm all for abusing bugs as much as I can during videos and streams in order to bring them to the notice of the developers so they can fix what they want.

Yeah, it's something like that. Some spells require a lifetime of -1 to become infinite, but other spells (like Heal Projectile) require it to be 1. So, in this case, Heal Projectile itself has a lifetime of 60. A Reduce Lifetime modifier lowers that by -42, then another lowers it by another -42. Then Ping-Pong Path raises it by +25, for a final lifetime of 1. MATH.

Lots of spells can be made infinite by using reduce duration; it's a bug, but it seems to be a stable bug so far. Look up "infinite wisp wand" for a tutorial on the concept.

Thanks, I understood. Maybe two reduce lifetime spells are reducing it beyond zero to infinity, or something like this.
