I use a little kid sock on my go pro to kill the wind noise. I put it over the camera can cut off the extra and sew it closed. Cut the holes for the lens and back screen . Once its all trimmed up I singe the edges with a lighter to keep it from fraying .

Hello She detector. When a target disappears when swinging over it, use the pin pointer feature on your detector. Most of the time it will re- locate the target, so you’ll know where to use your hand held pin pointer. Nokta Makro should put a mute feature on the pin pointer, so it doesn’t over ride the detector’s sounds/tones. Or maybe they do have such a feature. You might want to look into that. Hey there. So glad you are enjoying the double score. Yes, it does try to discriminate in the standard settings and it does it fairly well.... to be sure, you can switch the mode from beach to park (or gold) pretty quickly and check it those signals show up more clearly that way. With the legend, when I get jumpy signals like that, I'll pop it over from beach wet over to gold field. Just a quick trick. The wind is bad over here on the ocean side too, glad you grab a wind shield for your gopro. It will help a lot. Smiles, and keep having fun with the Nokta!

great video. this machine seems to detect small things well and deep things like the toy car well. personally id turn off the blue tooth for the pinpointer and make its signal detection loud so i could hear it, or vibrate either way. thats what i do. thanks Kay, Larry

Nice adventure, well if it's picking up the tiny objects it's going to find the larger ones more easy , just got to hit the right spot have fun

I went metal detecting in a vacant area and found a ton of change that was corroded I had to try and use coin cleaner solution to get rid of it so I could put them in coin wrappers

I was wondering about having both the pinpointer and the detecor linked at the same time via Bluetooth. My pinpointer doesn't have Bluetooth, so I just keep it on vibrate and don't worry about hearing it or not with the headphones on. I'd like to see how that lapel mike works on the GoPro once you try that out.

Sea foam can contain very high levels of PFAS. Think about it and take care of yourself.

Borrow a Deus2 and try it , especially on the beach you'll be very surprised after the learning curve.

if only that was a really car. Be careful where yoiu dangle your pinpointer. I remember you had and issue with that dangly bit before.

You don't know how to use the machine, too bad your talking about what u don't know, watch the Texas detectorist, he uses it, the DS will connect both and has a setting so it is heard out loud...

She detector never claims to be an expert. She documents her discovery experiences which are likely to be similar to other detectorist discovering the capabilities of a new machine. My experiences are more like she detector than the guy who finds 6 rings in a day. That never happens to me. I find her discovery approach more informative than the guy who claims to know everything. It's closer to the reality of my metal detecting experience.

Again! She doesn't make any claims she just documents her observations. She clearly states at the beginning of the video that she is just learning the machine.
