Had mine since it was released earlier this year. Its excellent! The wobble is nothing that bothers me and is made up for by the fact it collapes to make it easier to fix to my bag. I was out yesterday digging in hard clay, pulling and swinging off of the spade like a good 'un! It didn't phase it one bit, where as in the past I've bent/snapped other spades digging in the same fields. Great review Liam, told as it is. Cheers pal, keep safe.

Haha so was mine , won one then another couple weeks later boom one wobble was enough so got rid of the other to pikey James of ministry of detect , so he’s a wobbler too 😂

Good honest review. I have a problem with my new ada spade, my foot keeps slipping off and it bruises me. The designers need to know these things to improve them. I'm detecting on the Teybay rally (sunday only) may see you there if your going. ATB Jacqui.

That’s a good point , I know Stephen petican ended putting some bolts into the head steps to stop the slip on the Nokta, but with the price they could be designed a bit better . As detectorists we would make the best spade as we use them alot. And over time find improvements. Be great to see you there jaquai to have a chat and a brew 🙂👍🏻

Grip tape off eBay. All my spades have it in them and works a treat. No need to be drilling the foot plates 👍👍

Hi man, how is it holding so far? my concern is the pin that lock between 2 parts... its look like the weakest link between 2 parts. Maybe Ill buy and weld it later on

I like Nokta Makro as a brand, Simplex is great but for me a spade that wobbles because its in 2 parts is an enormous no no to me. Looks ok n everything but I want solid tools for the job

you cant review a spade without mentioning its weight, in fact its way too heavy and the angle of the spade was wrong . I Got rid quick.

Weight didn’t seem an issue for me personally, but maybe for some . I do prefer the straight spade angle as the sides of the hole are more squared and less chance of damaging a decent piece of history. Great feedback though mc hammered, cheers
