Thanks for sharing Mike! Those features are definitely super important for me digging in iron, and for us all around our area. Separation is the most important thing for me. I appreciate your tests and sharing your results and opinion
@IffySignals yes absolutely! Still pulling stuff put of those fields too! I got a capped bust half dime, coppers and buttons. Most of the places I have are heavy with iron and junk. Or at least enough that it's important to not be masked as much as possible. I'd love to get together again one of these days! Still just weekends for you I assume
Iffy, do you think the Nokta Double Score is as deep as the Legend. Hunt with the Deus 2 most of the time. Sold my 800 and considering one of them as another back up machine. Thanks Terry.
@terrygreennway9655 hey Terry if the Legend is in Stock settings yes, but the Legend has allot more room to manipulate setting to help with depth. The Legend is not that much more $$ than the DS.
I was waiting for the update to order one just to make sure that they didn't ruin what they had. I'm glad I waited because that's not the same machine it was before and they made a big mistake in that update and I won't be buying one unless they bring it back to the first version. You had it right the first time Nokta!
I’m sure! What I think will happen is they will give you the option. That way the user can choose. I guarantee there will be another update before it gets released.
@@kody3377And how many more Updates before it's gets to be on the Discontinued Detector List just like the Simplex + was on there just after it was 2 years old and I Had no idea why it was there until I got to a park that was EMI infested and the Simplex + wouldn't shut up until I turned it off and I couldn't take the Simplex and I was uninterested and went looking for a update and Now that I have the X-Terra Pro it's a Totally Different Detector that I have ever owned and it's a Coin Shooters Dream Detector.....
Well i have to say I'm disappointed with the bottle cap added. I ordered one because of the great separation. I hope they can have an on/off feature for bottle caps. I personally dig most of them i come accross. Bottle caps can mask targets. Much better to get them out of the ground in my opinion. But at the same time, i understand that no bottle caps signals improve the fun factor for those starting out. I guess I'll have to stick to the field program
Not sure. Some testers must have asked for it. They can always change it back if enough customers ask for it. I think it should be something implemented into the IF scale or a separate option.
@@IffySignalsAnd how fast it's getting Screwed Up and How Many More Updates will it take and how long before they start to Discontinue the Lineup, like They have for the Simplex + and just after 2 years old when it was on the Discontinued Detector List and I Had no idea of this but I went to the Notka website looking for the Simplex update and then I seen it about it on the List and it only has 3-4 Updates and Sorry if I have kept on about the X-Terra Pro and it's the first one that I have ever owned by Minelab Detector's and I'm still amazed about it and To me it's a Coin Shooters Dream Detector that I Now can get passed from detecting everything that is sounding off like a good target but then if the numbers are jumping around a bunch then I know that it's not a coin target, but it's going to be a Relic Target And Or something Junk but thanks for what you and Calabash are doing and I wish that the X-Terra Pro is in some future testing and I don't know everything about it yet but what I do know that it's a Keeper Detector that is a totally different Detector that I have ever owned.... and thanks again Iffy Signals..
Wait, isn't Field Mode supposed to be deeper and not separate as well as Park Mode. But Field mode is separating better than Park Mode in these tests on the Score?
That’s a darn shame! I really liked the separation on the D Score, but still for another $10 you can get the Legend…..at the moment anyway. Why would they do that? Little irritating! They should have left it alone. I didn’t see any other testers so maybe they were having different results, but your test are as black & white as they come.
Yea Cody! Not sure, i was not an initial tester for this one just giving feedback. Maybe they will put it back and let it be part of the IF settings. It still does good, was just better before.
Bang-on Mike, you run it straight from the shoulder, as always. I like that in a person. There are bona fide testers, and "also rans". In my op, Nokta would do well to "notch-out the chaff" Two or three top-class testers, in communication with one another, is plenty. Too many "Cooks"..Too many "Chiefs". I sit back, as an old-timer now, and do a "Pontius Pilate" mode on 'em. White lab coats, silly🤔 "intellectual-in-deep-though" photos that accompany their channels.Ugh! UK is rife with 'em, too. Nokta needs testers, not ex-spurt charlatans, in my out-spoken opinion. Ooops😉👍.
It hit the gold? What gold? I didn't see any gold in your previous tests. Notch out a few different common pull tabs and still hit pure gold? Notch out silver and copper too and still hit pure gold? I want it.
Definitely 👍 i have a 2 gram gold bar test. Notching out pull tabs and trying to hit gold? It will work on some gold depending on the size but not a good move because they are both mid conductors.
Have you tested these machines on the salt sea beach? Which in your opinion performs better on the beach: Minelab X-Terra Pro or Nokta Score? Thank you!
I have taken both, both are good. Score is more stable, but you have more options with the Xterra. The performance of the Xterra is very good and you can adjust the tones and set it up the way you would like. Score and Double Score are very stable and fine for the beach but currently no tone options.
