I played around with the ground Suppressor and the sensitivity and it was of course not as good as my Legend but I got it pretty stable in the end and since this video have hit some decent targets, thanks for your comment 👍
@@rudigginit for me that was a huge selling factor. I live in the California high dessert very hot a sun hat is in order. In park settings I like to keep it quiet.
I have both also, Simplex Ultra and X-Terra Pro. Different perspectives. Keeping that in mind, I can’t pick a winner; should say they are both winners. Both are modern machines, well-engineered. Both are great fun, not excessive parameters that may shoot you in the foot.
Yea I've had the X-TERRA on the beach and it was fine and I like the machine but was sick of people saying the Simplex was rubbish on the beach when it just isn't, anyway thanks for the comment 👍
I agree with that I liked the X-Terra and Minelab have hit an home run been able to use the Equinox coils I think Nokta should of done that but never mind, I got the X-Terra for a back up for the wife but she doesn't like it (say's it's too heavy) so I'm going to get some coils for the Simplex (which I prefer just) and sell the X-Terra but both good starter/back up machines 👍👍
Cool.. my simplex is a little chatty on blackpools wet sand.. that was on all metal mode (Detect sussex uses that mode)...but dint mind... love my simplex
Is it the new one or the plus.... ? the new one has a ground suppressor which defaults to 5 it has 10 settings and you can adjust some of the other settings i found going up to 7/8 on it worked great and maybe the sensitiverty down to 22 ish made it very quite and still getting good signals, anyway ill be using it more as time goes by, thanks for the comment.
Yea got it down to the sea, no wellies so skimmed it over and waves went over the coil and it stayed super stable no chatter at all and with the sensitivity on 27, the Ultra also has a ground suppressor but as I said I just turned it on, I'll hopefully be getting back on the beach with it before we come home so I'll try getting in the water 👍👍 thanks for your comment 👌
Only got it wet at the surf didn't have my wellies on but hoping to get on the beach before going home so I'll try and put a short on but it seemed ok when I was swinging it over and in the surf 👍👍
