Is it a turn on and go metal detector? Right out of the box to the beach. Big results for the Nokta Simplex Ultra on salty mineralized sand found here on the North Sea in Essex UK. This is the first beach hunt for me using this new detector, the results are genuine and un biased. It is what it is and that's how I call it. This is merely a first go with the machine and a test to determine marginally if it can handle my particular beach conditions.
