Hey, let's hope Nolan can play and succeed like he wants to and knows he can. It'll be a huge boost for the defense this season if first-rounder Smith shows up and makes an impact. Every time I saw Nolan Smith on the field I felt like he was winning his matchup and getting solid pressures. The stat sheet isn’t everything. Brandon Graham is a great example of someone who paid their dues in pressures early on in their career and drew undue criticism when he was playing hard and performing well the whole time. It just didn’t translate to sacks until a couple years in. People used to say BG was a bust. That was always a bad take, because if you actually watched him play he was winning matchups all over the place.

I want to know when he hurt his shoulder. Was it during preseason? I remember him having a really good hit and then suddenly leaving the field with his arm hanging. Seemed like an injury at first sight. I'm hyped for him S2.

Yeah I think it was against Cleveland when it happened in the preseason. At least when I first noticed it 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@thephillyspecialshow yeah same. Just making sure I wasn't tripping because it seemed to bother him every time he's in there after that play. He would've been better off going on IR and getting surgery right away. Hindsight is 20/20
