Great interview. I can’t blame the wife for getting tired of Alaska. Great compromise, but it ain’t true that all men want to drive a vehicle. They appreciate the help with driving. And she is correct, you are married but you maintain your individuality, that’s the best advice.

I am so her in so many ways especially what she says about being a Sagittarian! You get it mastered and then what’s next. I didn’t purchase my hubby but we are as different as chalk and cheese.
I love these two! Sound very much like my husband and I. I am another Vonda ,I'm ready to chuck it all and hit the road. My husband likes to remind me that I don't camp, the few times I did, were thunderstorms....all day! I don't like bugs, dirt or the stress of the unknown, but I feel this calling to get out there. My children tease me that I wouldn't last because I would miss them and the grandkids too much, maybe but I would sure like to give it a try.
You could start out on a two or three week trip to somewhere you always wanted to see. Inwould suggest joining Escapees and going to one if their meetups. It really helps to meet other folks who love rving. Good luck.

Andrew's body language is priceless. I lived briefly in AK and lived in AZ for about 38 years. I don't know why but there is allot of traffic between AK and Phoenix. There is allot of back and forth between Native Americans in AK and HI. HI, I understand. Maybe similar cost of living. Putting your vehicle on the ferry is a good idea if you don't want to drive most of the ALCan and you get to see the SE coast that way.
I agree. Andrew speaks volumes without saying a word. I have been wanting to do a trip to Alaska and think the ferry is the way to go. Hopefully this summer or next!

Make a little jab, and it gets the Just kidding vibe. But deeper down they are not kidding at all. I am not saying this to get into all the little tiny knick-knacks of conversation, or to be analyzing them. But what I am saying is it is a problem with a lot of people. They'll say something to their mate in a so-called joking manner. But it isn't really joking because underneath, I can sense the resentment. Truly my Glowbie friend, did we watch the same video? If you watched it again with an open heart, I really feel you'd see what is in the words and what is behind the no words. I love you Sister.🍑
