Thanks for the budget update! These videos are very helpful as we begin our own nomadic-fire planning and budgeting. Also, I have now moved Guadalajara up on our "must visit" list!
You had us at Tequila Train!! Happy birthday Tim and thanks both for another video...I'm going to treasure these even more now that they are fewer and far between...maybe while drinking a 9 dollar beer here in DC (sigh)!
I’m a huge movie hound too. I always go to the movies where ever I am in the world. I’ve had some memorable experiences. Thanks for your update video…happy trails!
What a great video about your time in Guadalajara and getting Mexican residency. Our six months is coming to a close next month but we’ve had a great time here especially in Huatulco. We are heading to Zipolite for a week, then Monterrey for a few days before heading to San Antonio and Austin and possibly New Orleans before heading home.
Wow, you skipped one Wednesday and already look 10 years younger. It is clear those weekly youtube videos took a lot of effort! I am sure you have more time for fun and sleep!!
We were there a couple of years ago and the song Guadalajara stuck in our heads forever. The city is simply beautiful. A highlight was to go to the real Tlaquepaque (the non real version is in Sedona and we knew that one first) where the ambiance can’t be beat! We found there a mariachi composed by women only and it was magnificent(of course they sang Guadalajara). I gather you guys are doing the independence route - Mexico City, Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato and now Guadalajara?
I just found you and excited to go back and watch your videos. I apologize if this shows my ignorance about your travels. My question is my husband and I are getting our Residency and we will be traveling all over Mexico the next two years. We heard you have to officially change your address every time you move with online forms and go into the gov office in Mexico each time to officially let them know your new location. Since we will be moving every couple of months or weeks, I am worried this will be a real pain. Have you heard about this? Sounds like they are cracking down on this with those with res. and making sure all the paperwork is in order and can check this at anytime.
We have heard this as well. Can you use a friend’s address who might be an expat and not a nomad? Your residency will be processed where that address is, so something to consider.
@@GoWithLess a few people we talked to said they have been sending officials to check if your residency address is where you are actually living. So this wouldn’t work.
