Hi, we're Tim and Amy. In 2015, we retired...in our late 40s! Our channel is all about our early retirement/FIRE (financial independence, retire early) life.
As of 2020, we're full-time nomads! We sold our home and gave away most of our stuff to travel the world, thanks to travel hacking and house sitting. Every Wednesday. we share our adventures.
Maybe you love your job and don't want to leave it? We believe financial freedom is a fantastic thing to pursue no matter what. Being debt-free and working toward financial independence means you HAVE OPTIONS!
We share our spending and our life with our audience.
We're excited you've found us! Please subscribe to follow our adventures!

This is my first time enjoying your RU-vid channel. Great content! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Your video was so informative. Thank you so much! I'm interested in this for my young son who is just starting out in life. Apartments are so expensive and he absolutely adores animals, so what's the downside - none!
May I ask if you worked with a financial advisor or currently working with a financial advisor to figure out the most tax efficient way of withdrawing or helping you develop a retirement investment/withdrawal strategy? Or did you do the math and analysis yourselves? Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
If you still use quicken nowadays, have you seen the increase of 'issues' with quicken due to interface changed between quicken and the banks etc? Or what other tools have you been using to track your current expenses? Thanks !
Hi there! We are planning on retiring in Mexico by March 2024. My question is: How far in advance should we start the process? Thank you so much! I enjoyed watching your videos.
Hi! In your most recent video (from 10 months ago) regarding Mexican residency, you mentioned that you only have coverage for six months in the U.S. I found this video from a couple years ago. Is this still current as far as what you are doing for your retire early health insurance? I'm ready to pull the plug. Cheers! P.S. Wish you guys did more videos!
I'm skeptical; we live in the north and travel south for the winter and have 3 cats. Are there really people willing to stay in our rural home (desirable in summer) but cold in winter. Isn't there an 'oversupply' of people requesting house sitters in cold locations in the winter? If you pay for the service and get 'no takers' aren't you wasting your money?
Those awful sidewalks in SE Asia! Glad you had a good experience. I have been to Drs. and dentists all over the world. Usually good experiences, but a couple of bad ones too!
It’s so good to see older American adults (like myself) making videos with information about travel because I will be taking this trip from Prague to Berlin and I am considering Flixbus. Helpful. 😊
Great video! How did you fulfill the proof of address requirement when completing the process in Mexico? Did you rent an apartment or do you own a place? Or some other method?
I second this question. We understand that life happens, but subscriber following is such that you have some folks who: a) would like to see more content, and b) are concerned that the posts just seemed to STOP. Even if you don't have much to say, or if there are changes in your life that you couldn't have foreseen and/or the channel cannot continue, I think I can safely presume to speak for the 20K subscribers you have and ask you to please post in response to "are you okay"? Kindly reply if you can.
👍💪👏 My niche is staying overnight with my local petsitting. Wanted to add that I do most of the cleaning the day before they return bc so many have returned early for all kinds of reasons. Very relieved that I was still able to leave it better than when I arrived. I also usually leave something fresh to eat for breakfast if their flight is going to be very late. Do NOT underestimate how much you grow to love & to miss the pets! Even my regulars are only biannual or annual. Thank you for this excellent video. May you be richly blessed with much love & laughter, good health & success.🙏
First video watch. I've been watching other traveling couples and you were both excellent. If you could slow down just a bit, it would be helpful. Thanks.
Hi how are you. I have a complaint to make. I posted on Facebook that I would like to meetup with our members in Buenos Aires if they were any- This post was deleted- I am offended by thus arbitrary action. Can you help
