From the Program Notes: by Paddy Sandino The namesake of this piece is the oh-so-common phrase you hear in Indonesia when a phone call doesn't go through, a recorded message spoken by a woman of excellent diction and shameless cheerfulness. Why she should be so pleased to inform you of your communication failure is a mystery. The piece plays with the idea of communication, with the different instrument groups interacting as different voices, sometimes in harmony and sometimes in conflict.
