In my teens I didn’t even watch anime, it never crossed my mind and I didn’t know where to watch it at the time. Now in my early 20’s, I started to watch it as off this year to try new things, and hell, I love it. Even started to try manga and that’s just as enjoyable. Always good to try new things.

I've kind of gotten out of my traidtional anime fight phase. Sure, there will be something that will come around that is tradtional that I will like, but after reading and watching series like death note, Bakuman, Kaguya sama, Promised neverland, Dr. Stone and Spy x Family, I've come to appericate it more when people can take the traditional anime fights and craft them into something else.

i actually made my friends watch demon slayer I showed them zenitsu first clip that amazed them and then i just requested them just to watch 1st ep and they liked it very much and i watched demon slayer again with them with their live reactions. Boii, I had friend that never watched anime, so I hooked my friend with high-school dxd and man we spent 2 days straight watching the whole series.

They are breathing techniques based off of real ones used by various Samurai before and during duels and training to increase oxygen intake. They just take the breathing techniques and add additional animation on top of it. Also in the show they do not physically use the elements that are animated but instead represent the form of breathing techniques combined with sword techniques. Also only exceptions is nezukos blood and the poisoned blade

The actual reason Zenitsu Can fight asleep is because he practiced so much he Can do it in his sleep

For the Non-Anime Fans. You should have picked anime fight scenes from Hokuto no Ken, Gurren Lagann, One Punch Man, Demon Slayer, Hajime no Ippo, Dragon Ball Super, Kengan Ashura, Baki, Afro Samurai, Digimon Tri, Rurouni Kenshin. Those anime fight scenes for those anime I feel are the best for people being introduced to anime.

haha lol tangiro does have some sort of fire breathing technique but is different from the normal fire breathing technique was past down by his ancestor who was the only one to defeat mozan, hence the fire ritual you see past down from tangiros father

Not hating but it’s not like you can understand the emotion and back story behind the fights that make them so special and emotional if you haven’t watched the show itself ,

The reason Zenitsu has the ability to fight when he sleeps is because of his training. Notice how he only uses one breathing technique, that's because during his training he could only pull off that one technique. So he had that move drilled into him by his teacher for so long that he can do it while unconscious. Also while awake, his nerves and fear cause him to freeze up so he can’t move. When his life is in danger, his nerves and fear grow so strong that he passes out. But while asleep, his nerves are no longer holding him back, allowing him to fight and move with great judgment, precision and skill. His hearing also plays a big part in allowing Zenitsu to fight unconsciously, as it enables him to discern his surroundings and the location of his enemies and their attacks.

Yes. Tanjiro uses fire too. At first he used swordsmanship for a water breath but used a sun breath. Later on, he'll also use a thunder breath once. Tanjirou used the father of all breath that's why he can actually do it all in theory.

Zenitsu can fight better unconscious because his self doubts stop holding him back similarly to how Kenichi from History's Mightiest Desciple could fight better unconscious because he wasn't over thinking and going on pure insticts.

How about Rock Lee vs Gaara or Shikamaru vs Temari? You don't need hundreds of episodes worth of backstory since it is those characters first outing and a simple arena duel is easy for anyone to get into.

Show him the starting fights.. things which set context.. like Zabuza fight in early Naruto or Thor's bare handed fight in Vinland Saga. Fights that require little background contexts.
