@@Watergunner yesn't. Yes he did INITIALLY but if you remember later on in the series it was RECONNED when Mark decided to fuck with the time stream (he got lost in the core of a planet that could alter time and missed some of the golden years of his family's life...)

Omni man smashed the flashes head super quick, what WE witnessed was HIS perception of it happening as earlier in the episode he told his girlfriend he actually perceives thing much faster so a normal conversation feels like hours to him. His head was crushed in a second but he FELT it all for probably a whole hour or so.

i feel sorry for everyone who watched invincible without knowing about the gore. that whole first episode took a crazy chance people would stay till the end through all the generic tropes. and if you did, you were rewarded heavily…

fun fact: omni man actually didn’t take long to crush his head. imagine you crunching an egg in your hands. it wouldn’t take that much time at all. Almost instantly. HOWEVER, earlier that same episode, red rush explains how everything he experiences iso is the speed he can move. he’s not just physically fast, but mentally fast, too. which is why the director ran that scene at hyper speed to show just red rush’s perspective in that moment. which is also why no one was able to make it. even though red rush had time to punch omni man like a million times, it was all in an instant. i love that part of the show, and it’s actually ten times worse when you realize the suffering he endured in what would have been an instant death for anyone else but him

Just as a note, that fight against Mark (Invincible) actually ended in Omni-Man's LOSS. Because in the end, the dude was savage but not ruthless enough to murder his own son in cold blood. Especially since his son all but said that, despite the fact that he'd outlive everyone he knew, he'd at least have his father around too. Dude couldn't keep going after that and just left the planet.

I get what you're saying but this is technically something like the American version of something like berserk (which is a laughable comparison considering how much of an absolute MASTERPIECE berserk is) but Japan always has been the anime king no doubt.
