@@MandarinMama PLEASE PLEASE GET UR FRIENDS TO WATCH FROM NOBODYS TO LEGENDS THE NEW ONE 2019 BECAUSE ITS SHOWING THE HARDSHIPS & DOWN RIGHT RACIALISM EVEN UP TILL 2019, PLUS IT MAKES PEOPLE SEE HOW VERY VERY HARD THEY WORKED & STILL DO. HOW THE HATE FOR THEM WAS SO HORRIBLE EVEN BY THEIR OWN COUNTRY. PLEASE WATCH I HAVE EVEN MORE RESPECT FOR THEM NOW🌬💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🙏🤟💜💜💜🌬💜💜💜💜
Oh Joonie and those hairdos, poor baby lol. At least when he was told about his problematic ones he apologized. They don't tend to do that in other Idol groups. Just another reason I love them, they don't hide from their mistakes they own them and learn from them.
As a black person i personally didn't have an issue but i can understand. I do wonder though how they were able do that to his hair after knowing the chemical differences bt straight and kinky hair 🤔
Have you seen their recent live performance of this and NO at MAMA 2019? They were amazing, it made me emotional that they chose to do those two songs at the biggest Asian music event - it was significant in showing all the haters and doubters at the beginning how far they have come and where they are now!
I love your channel! The way you explain their concept as a group and the concepts of the songs to your hosts is just perfect. No ranting or lack of information. Just the right amount of tips to not feel completely overwhelmed. You also choose nice people to make videos with: open minded, intelligent and attentive. I'm a new fan so I am as well learning something more about BTS every now and then thanks to your videos. If you show your hosts N.O. MV and then the MAMA 2019 performance of N.O. and We are bulletproof, I think they are going to see even more the growth of BTS as a group and as dancers as the lady with the white sweater was saying. Thank you again for your videos 😊
Even though this is an older song I still love it along with their earlier work. Those are the songs I tend to play when I need to convince myself that the treadmill isn't a BAD thing. I also appreciate the fact that you're giving people a bit of insight into the boys and their background prior to the MVs. As for this particular song and MV, we need to go back to see how far they've actually grown but the base talent was always there. One of my favorite behind the scenes so to speak was when the boys reacted to their debut performances and that might be a good one to show so people can see what the group actually thought about it now VS back then. Anyway thanks for helping introduce people to these amazing young men who might not have known about them otherwise!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! BTS have come so far - and I appreciate the journey. I loved that behind the scenes because I imagine that in another few years, they'll have similar things to say about themselves currently. :) Thank you for your support!
Hey there, I really enjoyed your video and your friends. BTS appeals to a wide range of people. I'm 68 yr old American mom and came across their dance practice videos and that's what got me hooked. I now am liking their music as well. I haven't enjoyed music videos like this since Michael Jackson.
Hey, I'm one of the few who loved RM's hair and sun glasses but I'm so proud of how much they have grown and comfortable in their own skin especially for the Grammys and Black Swan live performance🤔🤗
The growth is great. I don't think his hair is that bad here, but it's not the best. lol. I love witnessing their entire journey - it has helped me be more comfortable in my own skin.
Omg, I love when JK raps! He drives me crazy when raps; I am still hoping he raps on this album cause he's been teasing us last year showing he can still keep up with RM.
I like Elisha. I would check out more of her channel but my youngest is going to be 21. Hopefully the more she checks them out she'll see that they are grown men who are kids at heart. That dual personalities is why I love them.
Virginia, this is the one that sent me, deep in the rabbit whole, I just wanted to know their names! And then....after this I was I gotta see how other people feel about this and got me into reactions
yeah, they look like baby.. that's why i felt like that they are my babies, my kids.. and they always make me proud for being their fan.. me as 40yrs old mom will be screaming watching them not because i think im a young girl watching a hot guy, it feels like me watching my kids perform.. hell yeah im gonna support my kids as loud as i can..
I am so happy I found you, I have literally 3 weeks ago fallen into the BTS rabbit hole and I am using their message to springboard some of my sermons and videos to my congregation...!
Thank you Mandarin Mama for bringing light to BTS. I got into them last Dec after Boy With Luv. I love the message of their music to the younger people and even older folks like myself can enjoy it. I love how they change with every album. Now i'm full on ARMY at 56. LOL So I may be a Granddaddy Army but heck I love em. Also love TXT, Blackpink and ITZY. Thanks for all the videos and spreading the Army Love!
i always get weird looks from my friends if i talk about BTS.. so i just stopped mentioning them. but i always play BTS songs all the time when im with them. 💜
I don't have friends either who are into BTS or even heard of them. The only one i know who stan them is my bff's daughter and it makes me sad coz BTS is for all ages. I just hope there's more older army here so I can fangirl with them. Lol.
So glad you are introducing your friends to BTS. May next time, maybe show them "WHO IS BTS or from "NOBODIES TO LEGEND" This will give them info on each individual member. 💜
Please bring them back for a nobodies to legends 2019 reactin video! Esepcially the lady in white. BTS and Army are waaay more than young girls....this fandom is so diverse from countries worldwide to people in their 30s-50s to men and lgbtq ...everyone is an army but I understand how looking at BTS would make you think " oh their so cute, must be teenage girls " SHE HAS TO SEE FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS 🥰💜
OMG!!! I feel like I've found my home!!! Almost 37 over here and total ARMY Mom. Love this! I am totally my girl on the far left around anyone who comes near me when I am watching a BTS video. I tried saying it was to stand up for my daughter in the beginning (it really was! We live in a small town that does not accept change. They still don't listen to BTS except for what is played overhead at Wal-Mart), but then my best friend made me admit that I was obsessed with their music and dancing.
@@MandarinMama I WANT to apologize for being so excited about stumbling upon it and ecstatic about finally finding my 'home' and 'my people's, but I am not a liar! I am a very extra AF person and love your reactions & your proper use of cursing and I love all of the subscribers!!! Thanks for having me!
I believe music transcend languages, cultures, races, ages....Coz I'm not Korean, and I'm 48, and I'm ARMY....Please make them react to their dance practices...
Watch an introduction video with them! Some recommendations: ➡ 2020 Crash Course to BTS by Suga&Spice ➡ Who is BTS? 7 Members of Bangtan by same creator ➡ 2019 From Nobodies to Legends by XCELESTE ➡ BTS Contribution to Music by same creator 😁👍💙🎶
Of course I've seen this before, but it's so interesting to review it in the context of what they do now! It really only hints at what is to come, but when I first saw it, well I thought it was the bees knees - little did I know! I've always loved this track for its fierce advocacy for young people and of course its energy.
Fans aka A.R.M.Y.s are beyond "female teenagers"...we come in all different ages & backgrounds. Yes, majority of us are females, but almost quarter % are males. Like RM said, "music transcends language, countries, borders..."
Not sure about the others but I've seen Jhope, JK and suga do backup dancing for other kpop singers back in the day even in MVs. Jin and V have done cameos. Etc
I love all their hair, even when Suga had red hair in braids in their battle with Zion/Block B. I hope you can show that video but some have said they got blocked.
That was a fun reaction ! I wish you'd tell them more about who they really are, I don't want them to know them as just a "pretty boy band". It would be nice to show them videos like "from nobodies to legends" and "who is bts?: the seven members of bangtan".
To be honest, at first it felt so cringey to watch their first mvs but now that I see how they evolved all this years, I feel so so proud of the boys! These babies were good since the begining, you can easily tell... By the way, I just found out your channel yesterday and I love it, your content is so relatable because I'm a new (less than a year) noona army! Sending love from Argentina!!!💜💜💜
Yes - I used to cringe at their first MVs, too. But now I appreciate it for what it is - especially knowing that BTS come at it from a place of respect and love for hiphop. Sending love back from California!
We don’t live close to each other, but I am trying to meet up with non-Kpop or non-BTS fans at every conference I attend and see who is down to record. :) So hopefully?
After my first time seeing this video, when ever I watch it as MV or live performance, I hold my breathe when Jimin flips over J Hope even though I know how it ends and it took me years after dance practice reactions to realize the hat trick wasn't real. Lol. Sad, I know.
Its funny lots of comments don't like RM's but I didn't like his and Suga's out fit. J Hope however caught my eyes from this video. I love the colors used especially the black and white.
I LOVE BULLETPROOF PT2 I AM AMERICAN AND OFC I AM BLACK AND I LOVE BTS I LOVE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AGHHHHHH!!!!! BUT I AM ONLY 14 BUT MY BIAS IS YOONGI-SHII!!! BORAHAE 💜
@@MandarinMama OMO REALLY?! THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT HIM OTHER THAN HIS LOOKS THAT MAKES ME MORE INTERESTED IN HIM ITS HIS PERSONALITY I LOVE THE RELATIONSHIP HE HAS WITH HOBI AND PLUS MY BIAS WRECKER IS OFC PARK JIMIN.....HE ALWAYS GETS IN THE WAY!!!??!
Please have someone react to N.O, that's currently my favorite old song of theirs and I really love the lyrics. (Then again, I am a teenager going through something similar, lol) You nice keep going

Just commenting, I'm black but from the Islands. I've never had issues with hair or clothing when other groups copy something we do unless its done in mean spirit or as mean joke. In Jamaica and most Caribbean Islands your first cousin could be Black, White, Chinese, Spanish, or Indian. I do understand Black Americans see things differently though.
Nina, yes! I fully agree. I know some folks don't, but especially in a time where blackness and being a black person is constantly legislated - the fact that black folks can be FIRED for wearing their hair in protective styles - but then non-BPOC or non-POC can try the styles without repercussions? That bothers me! I wish the stylists in K-pop would figure that out!
