Jimin’s FACE album is one I listen to most frequently. The songs played in order, tell his story of his struggles during the pandemic. Between depression and drinking and feeling alone, he has made one powerful album. Every song has a completely different sound and musicality to it, it’s crazy. Jimin also took part in writing all his songs on the album. There is also a hidden track that you received, if you bought the physical album call Letter/Dear ARMY. Such a touching song, dedicated to ARMY and it was how he felt when BTS announced they were going on hiatus. There is an acoustic version that Jimin released during 2023 FESTA and it is beautiful. I love Like Crazy, Set Me Free Part 2 (it’s loosely related to SUGA’s Set Me Free song, but not a direct sequel) is a complete 180 of Like Crazy and is such an “anthem” type of song. AMAZING choreo and a whole new side of Jimin that shook the entire fandom when it was released. There is no wrong with the solo projects of the BTS members. Sooooo much talent, it’s incredible when you hear them on their solo projects, they all have a completely different feel than each others, but put them together and they are a legendary group. D-Day by August D is probably my next favorite and then love V’s album… they’re all just too good. Jin released a single (The Astronaut… a gift from Coldplay, I love their relationship) before leaving for the military, but he’s coming home in 2 months!!!! BTS is my jam. But as far as Jimin his music moves me like no other. His voice is so mesmerizing and emotional. This entire album was written when he was feeling lost during the pandemic. He was not used to not working and was struggling and so his members told him to put it in an album. So FACE is that self reflective work of art that moves everyone to understand where he was at during the pandemic and how he got himself out of it.

Jimin wrote and composed this song and his EP Face during the pandemic and it's his story from that time. Like Crazy is about escapism. Trying to hide your pain and loneliness behind vices, in this case alcohol. I love how well thought out this entire album is and even the MV is filmed in a way to make you feel drunk and hazy to match the feeling. The mud represents how even though it feels good in the moment it leaves him feeling tainted afterwards.

Hi, UK ARMY here. As soon as I heard this track I knew it would do well in the UK. As well as hitting number 1 on Billboard Jimin managed to crack the UK top 10 singles charts and got to number 8. And that was without any promotions here in the UK! There is a full english version of the track on his EP FACE but I much prefer the Korean version. I mean once you know what they are singing about it doesn't matter what language they use. I suppose the only advantage is you can sing along with the english version! You should react to Jimin's whole album, it is really great. And he co-wrote the tracks.💜

Don't get me wrong I'm loving all of BTS solo work and I'm grateful they have the time to explore their own artistry, but to me nothing compares to the 7 of them when they are together as a group. It's like 7 incredible and very different artists coming together to make something that no one else can replicate. BTS is out here proving you don't have to lose your individuality when you are a member of a group. You can do you own thing as a soloist and still be strong as a group. As ARMY I can’t separate the group work from the solo work, it is all brilliant! As soloists they are different from each other but when working as a group they have such an eclectic range of music as well - though I do confess that Jimin catches my ears, eyes and soul just a smidge more than anything else in the world of music - they are always 7 for me.

In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even uses excerpt wordings, with voice over actors using dialogue more in tune with song, from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that maybe it could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to enjoy himself, as well as being with someone or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party. Which is why he even said in the lyrics please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe, since dirt or mud means despair, that was what all the dirty grimyness including on his hands in the end, also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state.

Like Crazy definitely reminds me of 80s club music, which I spent a lot of time dancing to in clubs back in the 80s. Yes, I am old. 😂 You can't make me choose between BTS music and the members' solo music. It's like asking me choose only one flavor of ice cream to have for the rest of my life. I think you'll enjoy learning each member's individual musical style while continuing to dive into the enormous BTS discography. Having said that, Like Crazy is one of my favorite songs ever. It perfectly combines that 80s sound with a very modern sound.

You will love Jimins whole album Face it has such a great story as track flow it really tells a story about him struggling throgh oandemic with himself, relationships, alcohol but overcoming it There is also a documentary about how he created the album and it really shows day to day in the studio of him with producer writing melodies and lyrics and joy and agony that come with it. Also Jimin is great at writing melodies, he made some iconic bridges in BTS songs

I love BTS, but Jimin is so special. As songs are open to interpretations, I think he is referring in this song to his relation with the alcohol during the pandemic. I personally identified myself with this song, it's so meaningful!
