This song is from the same album as Like Crazy. The album is called FACE. And in it he talks about his feelings during the Covid lockdown. BTS were about to embark on a massive world tour for their album Map of the Soul: 7. But due to Covid it was cancelled and they were very restricted for so long in what they were able to do. They did online concerts, vlogs and lives to keep in touch with ARMY. Historically, Jimin has faced a lot of hate for being “effeminate”. People would refer to him in derogatory terms and he got a LOT of death threats. I think this song is such a celebration of who he is and how he won’t hide himself anymore. He’s, as you say, liberated. P.S: the text on Jimins body is a German poem called “Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen” by Rainer Maria Rilke. In English it translates to “I live my life in ever widening circles.”

The versatility Jimin showed on his first ever album was incredible. He's the best performer and storyteller I've seen in Kpop. I was blown away the first time I heard and saw this! Also somehow I felt proud. That he’s done something so strong and (in my opinion) sort of daring. He’s so versatile, his voice can do many things, he’s intelligent and clever. This video has it all. I kept thinking I’m not ready for the rest of the album, and I wasn’t! It’s a beautiful piece of work. I know this one is less “mainstream” than Like Crazy, but it won my heart first, so I think I am bias towards it. My favorite on the album is Face-off. But then again, the hidden track Letter is something that’s not even a song anymore, it’s just pure love and comfort. 💜 Enjoy more reactions! 💜

I think he's talking mostly about being free of his old self and of certain mental health problems he had at some point during his career as an artist. He used to be too self conscious about his image and behavior, tried really hard to portray something he wasn't. But now he has worked on it and is more comfortable and happy with himself:)

And making great achievements, breaking records till now with the minimum support from his label. Nobody expected his main track #LikeCrazy to debut straight to no. 1 BB HOT100. The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, which aside from the two main choreographers, he had a hand in, offering suggestions, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production, even the set design of the MV. Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released last yr on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! The triumphant declaration of freedom in Set Me Free pt.2 hits differently after hearing the full journey of struggles he goes through on Face.

This was a shock to us bcoz this was totaly diffrent from all his songs. A solo like performance video with a cussing which he doesnt use in his songs and he went upper body naked. 🔥🔥🔥 and his moon tattoos. Such a banger.
