I love when people discover that Ateez is not a one-trick pony that does the same song over and over again. They have incredible diversity and range and every single song is a bop. One of the few kpop groups that can pull off anything and make it their own.

Jongho sings the high adlibs in DejaVu and Fireworks live--it's impressive to see. Wave earned them their first music show win and their fans love Answer so much, they call it Queen Answer.

that white masked man you see in ATEEZ MVs is android guardian from strictland government that sees human emotions as disease and forbiddens art and music. He is following ATEEZ And Halateez to stop and destroy them because HALATEEZ are trying to overthrow the government and rebel against them. ( their lore is so freaking cool)

The ending clip in the 'Deja Vu' MV shows a part of 'Turbulence' , which has the same melody line (partially in the chorus, as I remember) as the second MV you watched here, 'Wave'. If you start to find the links between their songs, it goes crazy. It's not the only link they have between their songs.

Answer is among my favorites. The vocals are just so good and some of my favorite raps. Ateez often mix their genres and does the unexpected. In Kingdom they mashed this song with Ode to Joy and had the group La Poem (classically trained quartet) join them. It’s very different. The song teaser at the end was a song-sector 1 a B side on their Movement Ep 1 album. Almost 3 years before it was released.

Thank you for reacting to Ateez. RE: lyrics of Deja Vu, it seemed like a love song at first but honestly, lore wise it's connected to how much they want to feel. So I don't think they're singing love songs at all. Especially not when you consider how almost all their title tracks have something to do with their lore. I can easily see their song Inception with Deja Vu match up with Cyberpunk and their newest song Halazia. But also do pay attention their title tracks and some lyrics, they come back again in another song. A blatant example is from their Treasure album when you play Desire and Precious back to back like a loop.

Fireworks-Mingi was not in the video due to a hiatus but he did record for the song. I really love how this song plays with contrasts. Jongho pops off beautifully as well. Teaser at the end of this is for The Real. The masked man is a time traveling android trying to capture the black pirates (Halateez) to get the cromer. If you want to see Halateez react to Hala Hala and Say My Name (they were also in Answer). I strongly recommend Inception and The Real at this point.

since they are known to always kill the last chorus and go all out again, they're also known as the '30 seconds kings' in Korea ^^

I love that you "get it" about these songs and how well they are produced. May I recommend not putting the regular MVs behind the Patreon wall and instead watching videos likely to be blocked on RU-vid? There are SO many performances, usually associated with MNET and not available on the ATEEZ-named channels, which will get blocked on YT, but we know that the main MVs won't get blocked. So for Wonderland, for instance, there are live performances from music shows, and there's a full remix/remake of it that they did live in one take for Kingdom (the Symphony No 9 full version) that is usually broadcast safe but sometimes gets blocked. It's great to see you analyze these, and I hate that I'm missing your take for their most popular MV. ;) Thanks so much for reacting, though, and getting into how amazing this group and its production team truly is.

Wave was their first show win. It’s definitely summer vibe but I love the instrumentation. Ateez has some great slower songs but not a lot of pure summer song. Ateez discography is pretty versatile. They may have the same genre but they don’t sound the same. Jongho pops off once again vocally, and the song is just so much fun.

Thank you for reviewing Ateez songs. They are great vocalists and performers, definitely the best of their generation and among the best in the entire kpop. They always sing live! Also, some of their intros and outros are actually of another song, like the intro of Answer is actually a song called Declaration, and the outro is Sector 1 which was released in 2022.

They tell a story. Their songs are a growth. Try it, go to their beginning. You won’t be disappointed. ❤

Those runs and ad libs at the end of Deja Vu was main vocalist Jongho. He is simply amazing. The teaser at the end was for their song Turbulence.
