The Korean music copyright Association counts the number of songs written by an artist. RM as of right now as a total of 209 song credits under his name, Suga has over 150 song credits and, J Hope has over 120. And each one of the other members have at least between 20 and 50 songs credited to them. Each member contributes as either writer, composer, and/or producer on every album.

But that's why bts success is so amazing, of course they have other songwriters but most of it is by bts themselves + Pdogg, one of their main producers in the company. But bts mainly Rm, Suga and Jhope are always somehow involved and the other members they try really hard. They have gotten better, obviously they didt start from the beginning with producing but they learned and tried to learn how to so they could contribute to the albums and songs. glad you were able to react to the bts guide. it really changes one's perception once they've known them. people think that they are too mainstream but people don't realize that you just don't become one without any reason. Bts had a humble beginning and their popularity is very much deserving as they never fail to strive hard.

I usually say that the meeting of the seven members of BTS was already written in the star, you see! They all met each other when they joined BigHit during the audition, all coming from inner cities, none of them are from the capital Seoul. , except RM and Suga, had other chances to go to other companies, for example, the eldest Jin a year before he started the art-drama college he turned down an invitation and the following year,(he says) he was approached when was returning home at a bus stop. The youngest Jungkook received an invitation to join 7 entertainment companies but preferred the small and almost bankrupt BigHit, as he was dazzled by the talent of leader RM. Dance leader J. Hope auditioned in the big company JYP but he was rejected (lucky us), and during his training time there was one time he thought about giving up and little JK was crying behind him asking him not to leave. Kim Taehyung, the beautiful V, was just accompany a friend who went to audition and a staff asked him if he didn't want to do it too, he was happy, and passed the test, the friend, unfortunately not. Park Jimim was the last to join the group, like, months before the group debut, and friend V was the one who gave a little push, because the staff asked him what he thought about Jimin being part of the group because at the time V and Jimin lived together, getting ready. Anyway, I believe that in the world we live in currently, the coming of BTS was heaven's choice, to help lost youth find themselves, and to make us adults remember what we once learned.

A lot of the Drama OST's that V has done is for his friends. The Wooga Squad. So Itaewon Class and Our Beloved Summer had two members of the wooga squad. I believe he was asked both times to make the OST for them. I am not sure they actually really watch that many drama's because they are all so busy but sometimes they do.

Yes, BTS were forced to find their way out to connect with Army's. They were mistreated and cut off from shows, but they persisted and look at them now. Can't be more prouder.💜💜💜

Thank you for this reaction !!! Taehyung is actually the 2nd younger 😭😭 So that the list in order of age from oldest to youngest : Jin (1992), Suga (1993), Jhope (1994), RM (1994), Jimin 1995), Taehyung (1995) and then Jungkook (1997)

Another documentary series you can check out is "The rise of Bangtan" it shows how they started from a small background, their struggles, the good and bad times and how they eventually became a worldwide phenomenal, the first Korean artists to break so many boundaries, it has a number of episodes but you could watch one at a time for however long you want. It really gives much more insight.

Stanning BTS makes me want to be a better person and makes me want them to be proud of their ARMY's/Fandom. That's how BTS differ from other artists, they have used their platform/influence in a good way in helping us go through our daily lives and be a better person and most importantly to love ourselves. 4:22 The reason the statement “I didn’t force a mandatory amount of practice” is included in this is because the K-pop trainee system in most companies DOES force trainees into huge amounts of practice and many other extreme rules (such as forced dieting). BTS trainees still had a lot of restrictions but the relative freedom meant they were driven by internal motivation more than external force and fear. It’s important to understand that BTS isn’t different because they got so big, they were able to get big because they were different. Having a CEO who believed in creative freedom to tell their own stories was pivotal. Being a small company with limited resources meant that even if they wanted to, they couldn’t follow the cookie cutter mold that is standard in the K-pop industry/machine. They had to find different ways to connect with fans (vlogs, etc) which created a much more personal connection with their fans and grew into unbreakable love and loyalty between BTS and ARMY. It’s far beyond the typical one-sided love of a band with occasional “I want to thank the fans” during award speeches. With the success of BTS, other K-pop companies now recognize the power of the parasocial fan/artist relationship. They talk about finding “the next BTS” but what they are really hoping to manufacture is “the next ARMY”. They will never even get close to the scale of BTS and ARMY.

Jk and jimin were from the same hometown, but didn't know each other and the rest of them were from different parts of S Korea. The rap line were formed in 2011 and the vocalists were chosen in 2012. They grew to be close and rely on each other. They lived together for a long period of time. So that's why they are so close! They went through alot together, good and bad!

V is part of the *Maknae (youngest) line* - Jimin-27, V-27, and Jungkook-25. *The Hyung (older Brother) line* are - JIN-30, Suga-29, J-Hope-28, and RM-28. To Be part of the dance line, you have to have exceptional skills at dancing, all the members are really great dancers, but to have exceptional skills is another thing.

V is the second youngest in the group. Why did you think he's the second oldest? His friend didn't make it so it's not important to mention the name it's irrelevant. He wrote the song for those dramas because he is close friends with the lead actors from those dramas.

While you were watching each individual introductions, the date shown is their birthdate. V went to accompany one of his friends from Dagau. JK is also a Blackbelt holder. They came from different cities in South Korea and have formed a very close brotherhood.

Suga had a bad accident early on, I believe a lot of his quiet behavior was because he was in pain all the time. He had surgery in 2020 I think, and has become a much better dancer and a much more outgoing funny person after his recovery.

Exactly what you said. Kmedia almost ignore bts existence and if ever they got invited into a variety show, they are most likely insulting them or making fun of them masks as a joke. So they made their own variety show which is run bts that is originally has 10 eps only if im not mistaken, but fans love it so much so they decided to continue releasing. It has now 100+ episodes and counting.

One in an ARMY is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it with any other artist. It’s a way to join together as ARMY to make donations and be a part of projects all over the world.

It's far more than 700 awards now plus they also smashed numerous records and made a larger number of New records (1st) to do something which of course can never be broken.

All of the members write and produce but there's a big gap between the vocal line and the rappers. The vocal line each have between 10-20 credits (ish). The rapline has at least 135 each. Going all the way back to pre-debut. RM, Suga, and j-hope are the main songwriters and they each have their own studios (RM - Rkive, Suga - Genius Lab, j-hope - Hope World). (Jungkook has a studio too called Golden Closet Films but I don't think he has a space for it and he so far has only put out films from it, not music.) Anyway, Suga also should be noted separately for his producing. RM, j-hope, and Jungkook produce and they have several songs each (j-hope and Jungkook especially) but Suga produces a lot and for other artists too (including Halsey, Juice Wrld, Coldplay, Samsung, Psy, IU, Epik High...etc.). Anyway, I just wanted to note it because, it's great that the intro vid mentioned that they all have credits to show how much of their music and content is theirs but the rap line deserves to be singled out. They've been the three musical pillars of BTS since pre-debut.

Fanchant is done before some of the songs at live performances, songs like mic drop for example have long intro's and the fanchant is inserted in there.

For me, V was the best performer and dancer since 2013! He literally ate all choreographies! As a dancer I’m surprised too how didn’t they include him till 2018 that’s just insane, and I’m upset for that! And he’s the 2nd youngest member!

For RUNBTS, my suggestion is to NOT start from the beginning (Episode 1) cuz there are a lotttt of episodes and at the beginning the episode is too short and not as fun. You could start like from half way starting from episode 50 upwards. Personally, I like their episodes where they cook, there are a few where they have like cooking competitions. But you could just open the episode and like see roughly what the theme is.

Hello! The Korean Music Copyright thing you mentioned and asked about, those credits you see with numbers, those are the number of songs that they wrote and released officially. They basically have the rights to these songs and are credited for it.

They have their own twitter that they started using as a group even before debut, and it is used like a normal twitter account with funny pictures or videos, selfies and shitposts lol. Nowadays they use their instagram more tho. There is a separate twitter account of their label that their company manages for more official announcements etc.

All 7 member do to a greater or lesser extent. They are all song writers, Composers and Producers. The Rapper's do more of all 3 than the vocalists however the vocalist also do do as well. They all contribute to album's solo work within albums and their own outside of the group solo work. The Vocalists didn't do start learning to write, compose and produce straight away. As they had RM and Suga and quickly J Hope started to write and produce. Basically they learnt from each other and got help from the Company's team. It's called Artist Development. This doesn't happen very often within the Kpop Industry. Of course there are individuals in some group in some Kpop companies that do but it's not the norm and it's not as much as the BTS member do.

They have two Twitter accounts, one which is run by the company and one they run by themselves. The content is quite different (but the personal account sometimes shares post they like on the "agency" one). They also have a company-run account on Instagram and separate personal accounts (some use it more than others). There is a TikTok account they seem to forget it exists but when they use is apparently managed by j-hope because of the style of the video descriptions and comments

at first I knew BTS because of its good and cool music, then I was interested in the lyrics and messages of positive and inspirational BTS songs... then after a marathon of listening to BTS songs and watching RUN BTS at that time I decided to become ARMY... until now can't go a single day without listening to or watching BTS content

RM is the main songwriter, Suga is the main producer, JHope is the main dancer, Jungkook is the main vocalist, Jin is the main visual during their music videos (he plays the main character in their fictional storyline in their music videos, because YES they are connected), Jimin is a main dancer as well as the lead vocalist, V is a dancer and vocalist and visuals (he acted in the drama Hwarang as well). The boys all have talents but some of them exceed in areas that others don't. For instance, they are all credited as songwriters, composers, and producers because they have done so for their solo songs; however, RM, JHope and Suga are the main songwriters and producers for BTS' group songs as well. They write and produce all their music. Jin is the oldest member and Jungkook is the youngest. In order of age: Jin, Suga, JHope, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook. They all go live but they do different things during their lives. RM talks about his music making, as well as Suga but he mainly just talks to ARMY and gives advice like somebody's dad lol, JHope goes live and dances, Jin goes live and eats, Jungkook goes live and takes song requests (he's the main one that sings during his lives, the rest dont really do that), V goes lives and plays games with army as well as plays his music for us, Jimin goes lives and just talks normally (he's shy lol) and he brings other members to talk with him. Questions you had: -The Korean Copyright Association is basically a group of songwriters, composers, and producers. RM, Jhope, and Suga are apart of this association and RM and Suga are the #1 and #2 with the highest number of songs credited to them in ALL of Korea. -Jungkook and RM weren't friends. He didn't even meet him yet, he literally just saw that he was the leader of the group they were trying to create and heard him rapping and went "omg that guy is so cool I want to go there" he was actually 13 when he got recruited to BigHit. Korean age is like 1-2 years older than international age. -V's friend did not make it during the audition so he's not mentioned. He was the only one to make it from Daegu during that audition period. -Main is different from Lead. Main is the #1 position, Lead is the #2 position. JHope is Main dancer, Jimin is Lead dancer. Jungkook is Main vocalist, Jimin is Lead vocalist. RM is Main rapper, Suga is Lead rapper. Jin is Main visual, V is Lead visual. -The main danceline when they debuted was JHope, Jimin, and Jungkook. V ended up joining the danceline after his skills improved. They are usually always in the front during their dance choreographies since the other members (RM, Suga, and Jin) aren't as crisp with the choreography as they are. In the past V used to be in the back. It was easier for JHope and Jimin to be in the front when they started, but Jungkook was forced to improve his dancing skills at an early time because he was the main vocals so he was forced to be in the front. He was never bad at dancing, none of them are now, but he had to get up to JHope and Jimin's level who had been dancing for years prior to BTS. You sounded confused about Koya at the end of the video. Koya is the name of one of the characters from BT21. It's a koala and one of the 8 fictional characters that BTS came up with. BT21 has a couple of short, cute mini-series type episodes they released on RU-vid as well as a lot of different types of merch. It's very cute and lovable characters with their own little backstories and stuff that BTS came up with after they drew the designs (and had professional artists spruce the ideas up). They also filmed the process of them making these characters. It's on RU-vid as well. Honestly if you think you're close to catching up on content, you'll find more hidden in some way lol.

14:21 The "credits" here refers to the songs where the member/s were credited for composing. Most of BTS songs were composed and produced by the members themselves especially the Rap Line, RM, Suga and J-Hope. They do have songs where they work with other composers and producers but they make sure that they always have an input in either the melody or the lyrics. As for Jin 26:37 basically they can all cook except for RM because they usually don't let him in the kitchen as he has the tendency to destroy things (he's not called the 'God of Destruction' for nothing 😆) but most of the time Jin, Suga and Jungkok would do the cooking while J-Hope (the most organized) would volunteer to do the cleaning. Jin just happens to be the best cook of the members, he even co-owns a restaurant in SK that is run by his brother, Seok Joon.

They used to make their own personal creative music and put them in the Sound Cloud free for their fans instead of putting them in the album. This year J-Hope and RM came out with solo albums. Check out RM's Wildflower and Still Life and J-Hope's More.
