Very Good presentation Dr.Sandeep. I have a question, can we use BEAM188 element as reinforcement in place of LINK180 because this element considers only square section not circular as ideally required. I tried this but could not succeed in merging the coincident nodes, can you please make presentation on this?

Dr.Sandeep, I am waiting for your reply. If I want to do analysis considering dead load which I consider 2400kg/m3 for concrete, should I choose g=1 or 9.81m/sec2. The dead load is itself a gravity load, so g should be 1 ? Please comment.
