In my personal viewpoint, the host seemed more focused on describing food rather than actively engaging with the guests. In comparison to other hosts, there was a lack of meaningful interaction with the guests. I understand this is a matter of personal perception and I do not intend to cause offense, but I felt compelled to express this viewpoint.

Why does everyone call it Bara? The real name of the dish is WO:. Please try to use the real name instead of saying Bara. If you research Bara, you'll find that the actual dish is donut-shaped. While both dishes are made from the same ingredients, WO: is round with no hole in the center, unlike Bara.

Nepali speakers always mispronouncing newari names. They also call biska jatra bisket jatra😂. They just mispronouncing everything.

Idk why everyone is hating and has to pick point. I think it was a good introduction to some of the nepali food and the guests enjoyed it. I’m sure if you even pronounced correctly as the comment section says, the guests wouldn’t remember it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and seems like the guests did too and they will remember it. The world and the people have forgotten to look at the good side and just want to find things to pick on.

They are not exactly hating on them they are just correcting them. Spreading misinformation causes problem as people not don't really forget they do remember because I have had met people from abroad who where given wrong info and they remembered came to Nepal with such wrong info and faced some problems. From what I have seen It's better to not give any info and then give false info cases like this.

I definitely understand why it can be difficult for them to finish it. For Nepali non-Newars, even Newars outside of Kathmandu Valley - have a difficult time with our traditional Newari food. Chatamari and all would be a good gateway and then finally bringing out the big guns lol

By the way this comment you made is an excellent example why you need right information cause the meaning of the Sagun they gave is incorrect in many ways. You learned the wrong meaning. It was better if they hadn't given an explanation at all then giving a wrong one.

This show should have been hosted by someone who can actually speak Newari; this guy has completely butchered the pronunciation. It's also prejudiced to focus on Hindu Newar, as Newari culture is primarily Buddhist.

Buffalo chhoela made both zen and david dance that was too funny. Being chinese malay all these foods must've been perfect for their taste palates as they kept remembering similar foods back home in malaysia. Btw they shouldn't have mixed the samay baji like that I don't know why the host didn't teach them to eat it by mixing just one-two side dishes at a time. I suggest host to learn from Astha Shrestha, she hosts a lot better.

The whole point of these taste tests are to just taste each items not have entire meals each time. They were pretty honest because they kept mentioning how it's similar to their cultural foods. You sound insufferable.

Bro, don't try to force your accent too much like an American that you pronounce aaila as Ella and anti as auntie lol. If you're making a video regarding culture and explaining it to non nepali people.. make it authentic.
