an interesting home-made trotline setup you are using.. you had commented on no bones after deep frying.. i did not see you remove bones.. do they turn soft enough to eat deep frying them?
@hookedforanicemeal
@hookedforanicemeal Год назад
By scoring the fish quarter inch or less apart cutting bones into very small pieces after deep frying it can’t even feel them in your mouth, and bones are not hard enough to cause any damage in your intestines.

Great video Sergey! I enjoyed watching this technique and would like to try it next year. We took a 11-hour trip to Bonneville dam this year but only caught a dozen of shad. Your method definitely looks more effective. Two quick questions: 1) what size of dick nites did you use? 2) is your location close to the boat ramp? From my understanding it should be far away from the dam (and also the crowd!). Again, thanks for this great video!

Tried using this setup and didn't work for me, how were you able to have such an angle on your big rod? Mine would go down right away and i would snag bottom constantly. I was throwing pretty far as well. Maybe because water level was way lower compared to when you were there. Any advice to have the same angle as yours?

Great video, amazing fishing, Serge you are a pro! I am planning for a fishing trip there with my family this upcoming weekend. It is my first time there, I would like to be successful, and I will use your technique. I am looking to fish with my family in a place less crowded , like the one in your video. From the previous recent comment I understood that I have to take a right turn after entering the gate. I would appreciate if you could pinpoint a good location by dropping in the comment a Google location PIN, and maybe some advises. Спасибо большое! Я принесу вам свежую рыбу если вы живёте недалеко от Беллевуе WA😉. Четыре два пятъ-восемь девять четыре- два ноль четыре восемь. Regards

1.how to hook the small rod line to the big one? 2. do you have to cut the big line after you finish or you can retrieve the big sinker back?

Two zip ties to secure smaller. Fishing rod to bigger one. Sometimes I lose the sinker, but most of the time i get it out.

@@hookedforanicemeal I meant the banana sinker end to the main line? just a clip? when you drag the 200 fish, it won't scratched and break the line from the big rod?

and this is why the fish stocks are depleting... dont say no.. just look at the salmon runs in the late 19th century and the early 20th century... everyone caught fish like this... just keep at it.. even the shad population on my rive is not like it was in the 1980s;; people go out every day and catch the limit of fish for that day
