Nice to see you capitalize on the early schoolies, I'm waiting for the warmer water temps to get my kayak out to Raritan bay, then the Sound for blackfish, then May into the Hudson by Beacon, then back to the Sound & Jamaica bay for June July etc. Keep up with the vids, much appreciated. Tight lines.
@@Bsprecksfishing yes, but usually not the first week or two as I'm fishing 12 to 30 feet of water. Early April is tough in the shallows, but once they move in it's constant action.
@@Bsprecksfishing I mostly use fresh clam in April, crabs in the fall. For some reason I do better with fresh clam in April. An old timer told me that the blackfish mouth is more sensitive in the spring, but who knows.
I remember back in 1988 fishing the Conowingo Dam in Maryland for stripers. They would open the turbines of the dam and the water would just start boiling with stripers everywhere.. They were jumping everywhere and hitting the side of our boat. As soon as your popper hit the water, you would have a 12 pound striper on. Hurry up and reel him in and throw him back and make another cast and instantly another striper on... My arms hurt for a week after that... The greatest fishing experience I ever had in my life..
@@Bsprecksfishing of course man! Love your videos. I’m new into fishing in general and your videos have helped me out a ton! I don’t subscribe to many channels but just added you 🤙🏻
Very nice! you need a bigger net. And I can't believe how much your little girl has grown already. Enjoy - she will be all grown up before you know it, trust me!
