I caught a 42” Striper on the Chesapeake bay and I know that was a challenge to pull that in. Congratulations, that must be getting close to a NY record.
I am just SO Happy to finally see a video from you, Dan, and watch as your and the family catch some LARGE fish on the upper Hudson, Wondering why you did not keep any of them to Eat?? I do not know much about fishing though my husband Paul does, though he has not fished in well over 25 yrs, sadly. How are you doing on your new home?? have you started it yet?? Have missed you..
hey donna we can't keep fish of this size ,only 18inches to 28inches and i'm happy to let the breeders breed . we should have the plans for the house and start in the next month or so maybe sooner have some vids coming up . but i have so many projects going on i cant seem to finish any of them lol but soon
Uh what a smart dog;-) I hope that doggy did this to collect the rubbish and not just play around with it. A rubbish collecting dog would really be cool. I've heard of ravens doing it. They collect the lids of bottels and get a little reward when they put it in a machine. Have a nice weekend all CU
Big Stripers at silverwood lake near my house. Must swim for there damn live when safe released More than one Bald Eagle will be watching from the trees.
Please please I never caught fish in my life I’ve been looking for a good place for fishing but didn’t workout lol idk where should I go in Hudson River
@@rifathahmed9371 try and find a place where itdropsoff close to shore and not any weeds thats all up and down the river season will be longer the further south you go
we hope it was. those big cows need to be handled very gently, just because it looks like it swam off does not mean it survived. why bring the fish all the way to the road, have all your gear next to you so you weigh measure release all in a minute or so. he keeps those big fish out of the water way too long. not trying to be negative but those big cows are a precious resource and we need to keep them around.
Seriously? I LOVE fish and Love eating them as well. Personally feel with YOUR comment, you would be much better off watching some other video and NOT a family video like this one. I can personally think of other things that FEEL PAIN, and they are NOT fish!
Woah those are huge stripers!!!! I live by the Hudson river myself. I heard from NY harbor all the way up to the dam in Troy NY it's a mixture of salt and fresh water (brackish). I heard blue claw crabs go all the way up to the dams too.
