Hey Fred. I've only come across your stuff in the last week or so. I think I seen one of ur videos 3 r 4 years ago but I just thought u were nuts. Sorry about that, it was actually me that was nuts😁. Hey there Fred! As Kathleen mentioned below, this was an excellent video to come back to and watch again. I found something that also helps is to realise that most of the "things" around you are actually many things. My mind has this immediate tendency to want to label everything it sees, instantly. But if you look at, say, a pen, there's actually many objects there. So where is the pen? The conceptual mind is sort of seen for what it is, and then the more I do this, the more everything starts to reveal itself as the one mysterious "suchness".

I don't know if I am the only one who finds this technique immensely powerful but equally difficult. Suspending language seems same as suspending thoughts, cause every thought in my head is popping up with some descriptive labeling which is "languaging" as you call it. But being toughtless - I have been trying that for a while with little or actually no success... More than once I feel "oh how badly I wish if I could just stand still for a minute without language and experience what Fred is referring" .. Thanks Fred ...

Hi Fred, I'm overwhelmed with joy to see you replying. I (as in the unit 'I' as you call it) do believe that once I can actually find the the wisher, job is done. But before that, doesn't matter what my belief is, until I experience it, it all loops back to the same old unanswered bag of words "who Am I". Quoting your own words from one of your writings which I particularly liked and still repeat to myself in moments of hopelessness "We can’t see them until we can. We don’t understand them until we do." I'm waiting for that "until.." moment. and your videos and writings seems to be just the right things I need. So thanks again.

So the only thing that separates awake people from un-awakened people is the knowing of 'THIS'? I do get it, but for some odd reason it likes to play this forgetful game of sorts.. Makes me laugh though when I remember that I forgot. :)

No language and not knowing anything and also recognizing objects as actually words (rich words with many added properties like color and form etc.) is a state I got a glimpse of while experimenting with drug called Salvia divinorum, unfortunately I am not able to access this state out of my own juices.

Jaanus, I've been there. But it really is all a ruse. When thoughts are reintroduced on the come down of a psychedelic trip, they have a massive opportunity to play the "I had it and I lost it" card. Mind comes in like a hawk and explains it away and constructs the belief that places the simple here and now truth on a far off pedestal with as many memories of all the flashy lights and forms that you could ask for. If you can hold off on defending and believing that notion then you can for anything else that arises. Have some faith in yourself. In Fred. Maybe watch this video again. There's really nothing to it, to be here without words. Honestly, it doesn't take long at all to notice that there is not a Jaanus or a Sean here. And it's so delightful!

Confusing. If I pinch my finger in a door, even if I do not know what these things are and I do not call, name or label these things anything....my finger will feel pain and be uncomfortable even if I do not know what pain is or called, named or labeled. Why do you say if language is gone....the experience would be any different? Why be in a physical form if not for a physical experience? It just seems so confusing. I see that without labels you pull your perspective out further to see the infinite picture.....but what is the purpose of this? Is the purpose to know that we are the all and can change into whatever we wish?

It's only bob that's scared, and there's no bob. You notice fear, but it isn't yours. And it isn't bob's, or anyone else's. It's an empty arising. Coming to know your true nature would be very helpful, if you find yourself drawn to it. awakeningclaritynow.com/to-wake-up/

Ultimately there is no path to awakening. Having said that, you can consider it encouraging. If you can hear this teaching, go deep. The miracle is finding a vehicle you can hear.
