I have read somewhere where someone claims to make 'blue cheese' dressing and you can't tell, lol. They are pretty 'tough'. However I took a herbal class and this woman fermented them, omg, it was like a liquor, not rotten cheesy. I tried fermented myself and it molded. I will have to try again. You are supposed to let them drop on the ground and put them in a jar.
I love love love them, best when just ripe and tree dropped, or a day after its dripped. The first time I tried them I spit it out, second time I had two bites and was confused, third time I started to love them! Similar to durian!
