Ultramarines are pushed heavily due to their color scheme, which is a generally more inviting scheme that gives the idea of the "good guy" to laypersons. As for logistics, wars are won by logistics. Guilliman knowing where and when to send supplies and men is critical in achieving victory, as well as ensuring the forces don't run out of munitions or other necessary supplies needed to maintain their lines or press further into occupied territory.

Roboman is not just a simple middle manager, he is an ultimate all-rounder and on top of it he is the God of Logistics

Robert is like 50% Cyril and 50% Rampage-era Archer. He likes things to be organised but he will also blow off your kneecaps and rest his balls on your face if he has to.

that is pretty funny that hes just a manager, but I think it probably has something to do with most of the other non Chaos aligned primearchs being dead or missing or both, so Robotto Gillysuitman isnt the one we want or need but hes the one we got and hes really good with stuff like setting up supply lines for the war efforts, so because hes so prominent literally winning wars before they even begin by blocking enemy supply and setting up ones for his troops him and Blue Boys are the poster children, even if they are a bit plain I assume that literally any of the other chapters if they were too prominent would be more of a meme, since they all got severe daddy issues and their daddys have daddy issues not to mention the literal vampires and werewolves, so the blue boys just check all the right boxes to be the sort of stock standard buzz cut having dog tag wearing marine, also theyre probably statisticaly way more effective than the other chapters, atleast whenever the Orks are around, since Blue is Lucky to the Orks and whatever the Orks believe becomes true, the Ultramarines are literally rolling straight Nat 20s, and everyone else probably thinks its just cause theyre that skilled

In fact if this game have Space Wolf as main hero... It's will look more like God of War than Doom.

The smurfs feel too much like "Daddy's Favorite" from GW. Just an overwhelming amount of plot armor makes them feel boring. Black Templars would probably be the most active and likely choice for a game as there's just SO MANY of them. If you want a game with plot, a Salamander would be your best bet or hell even a Lamenter if you want things to get dark. Someone needs to make a Cyril Figgis custom figure for an Ultramarine captain.

0:50 Summary the blue in their armor is the easiest to paint Yup. That’s about it. So anyone who wants easy colors to go with lean with blue. Since it’s a table top having them as your front cover for people to get into just means it’s easier to paint and get into it. Plus it causes less casualties than the mosaic colors of the emperor’s children… that disco commercial with the noise marines and strobe lights caused more civilian casualties than the world eater’s entire history

I presume you're joking because wars have been won by logistics mostly and "logistics"-corps in army are good and efficient soldiers not just guys that's good with excel and SQL

While the Ultramarines ARE pushed too much by GW, I dont agree with some points you've given. I dont know how serious your view is, but objectively speaking, the reason why Ultramarines are so good is partly explained by the Codex Astartes which has strategies and ideas of war that Robosuit Gundamman stole from the rest of the Primarchs. The Ultramarines are not just paperpushing accountants, they're paperpushing accountants that are above average at doing almost anything at any other position be it the cashier or the security guard during a robbery. Each faction of space marine has a thing they're good at and at it the Ultrasmurfs cant hold a candle to em, but when it comes to being tactical and getting shit done, its the blueberries that do it the best in a general sense. Also helps that there so fucking many of them cause their primaech actually did some governing, maintaining and building infrastructure before getting stabbed in the throat by his zesty brother Fulgrim. Hell, first thing Roberto Gorillaglue did after waking up was lead the imperium to the Indomitus Era, credit where its due, i dont like the Ultramarines but their Primarchs the one guy who understood the assignment.

It was all meant to be "tongue in cheek". Poking a bit of fun at Gilly being created as kind of a demigod ot middle management.

Combining the power of demigods and efficient management, will definitely result in creating efficient army force. If we would say that's true that Emperor wanted Guiliman to be a "middle manager" that doesn't cancel the fact that Guilaman still is a powerful demigod who Emperor gifted with wisdom and strategy knowledge as all of other Primarchs And definitely, Emperor didn't wanted to create a whole legion of 3 ft middle managers in power armor. Ultramarines are still Astartes, no mater what, and they are super efficient war machines. Plus, organisation = efficiency, especially id we are talking about armies. Someone who can organise and manage their soldiers, is a great commander who will seek success on the battlefield, what Guilliman did.

As most people commenting i agree that ultramarines are overrepresented in warhammer, and i don't see any reason for that outside of being 'default faction' but further points you make have no sense lore-wise Yes ultramarines are from robert guillotine witch was meant to be the master of logistics and administration, but that does not change a fact they are still demigod supersoldiers, each worth a thousand of men. They are primarly warriors, but each legion had it's specialisation they do perfectly, while doing other things almost perfectly. however, ultramarines are the most effective BECAUSE of logistics. While they don't have the mightiest swordmen, the stealthiest assasins or most crafty bolters, logistics allows them to always be where they are suppoused to, with full mags, and support. they manage their resources perfectly and because of that they are in advantage almost every time. Even sun tzu in his "art of war" couldn't elaborate how important logistics is in war.

You're basically saying "if you're good at logistics and resource management, you can't be a competent fighter and commander". You are wrong, very wrong.
