I still think it is the right move, they'll probably only kill 3 units and you take down 2 catapults and because Cheececake has a higher economy and a better opportunity to expand, buying time would be in his favour
@@jackaagje8955 that's the point no? Scouts cost 7 basically and we kill 16 worth of stars while them killing 21 worth of stars. Although I don't know if opponent can actually kill 3 scouts in that scenario after we kill the catapults
That was a fun one... Sometimes we gotta step out and stomp out !! Like chess, ...you need to see the weaknesses of their position, and put pressure on that point and press until you get an opening to exploit. Surprised me the Kickoo was not out on the water !!! Crazy. I just recently won a match with friends -- where the Aimo player had it all going for them -- they had 3 giants and catapults when I will still getting low tech, like archery. He even had more points. ...But I got out on the water anyway - and was able to grab a couple islands and put pressure on his ports to basically shut him down. Ended up the other player seeing the weakness of this player (who had badly beaten us both in recent matches) treatied with me and we had a protracted job at beating down a wad of giants interspersed with perhaps a dozen catapults.
Small Pangea also works very well against cymanti spammers. If you encounter one, it is doable to beat them on that terrain (especially with tribes like oumaji or imperius), and if you get anything else you get a fun 1v1
Why did you go for forestry instead of construction? With burn forest now being in the construction tech you couldve gotten a lot more value then with lumberhuts. You only upgraded 1 city with lumberhuts which you could've upgraded with a windmill instead and i dont think you chopped enough foerst to really get value from the tech
