Wow, amazing timing. I've been considering buying one of these for a few weeks now. I'm just holding out hope that they offer some sort of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal. Especially given that they just raised the price by $30 out of the blue haha Great video! Thanks!
Hi thanks buddy I just watched your playlist on the office tank build great video I'll be watching any updates. I'm just Gathering the things I need for a saltwater aquarium and your sump answer the questions👍🏻 keep up the good work.
Nice competitor to the aquaticlife fixture- one cord, leg option to tank mount, flexible T5 light fixture angle. Always wondered why no one copied the maxspect wings so we can modify light angle to fit different width tanks.
Am I the only one that wants deep shadows in some parts of the tank for aesthetic reasons? When I first reviewed the Aqua Medic Angels (they include both dense led matrix and diffuse lighting), I said I wished they had more diffuse lighting and that made me consider supplementing them with T5's. I changed my mind, I think they have the perfect ratio of point/diffuse lighting. Shadows makes the tank look more interesting and dramatic. If you check freshwater aquascaping contests, top ranking tanks have huge areas of shadows.
The amount of light distribution is insane, about the "thing" you replace in the wall, not sure to understand, you already have breaker in one of your wall somewhere right? So i'm not sure how this can help?
What I’m curious about is the plexy shield protecting the bulbs. Old school power compacts had those in days past, and they would burn, get brittle etc etc
Yep, they are the same width at the xr15 so they will fit. I told them i was using the xr15 so not sure if they added in extra brackets or not. They are a fraily universal rail to work with most lights. The gap is about 7 3/8 so anything that or less should be fine.
