'Noosa' is special any time of the year...and when we visit, there are no crowds, it's Winter but still 25c and the sea is crystal blue. See what Noosa is like at this time of year - and without international and interstate tourists (due to COVID-19).

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Ok, our timing wasn't great - what with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global economic turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus to travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
We invite you to come with us as we make regular trips and take you with us via our
weekly videos 😊
Our videos are posted weekly 😊 (we aim for Thursdays).

Aussie Tourism Board should be putting you two on payroll. We're thinking May is a good time of year for us to consider Queensland. Donna has a sister and family in Brisbane now. We really should see about visiting before we get any older!

Yes, May is a great time to visit Queensland….the weather is fine, not much rain and no school holidays. It’s also still very warm up north. We went to the Whitsunday Islands in May a long time ago and it was one of our favourite holidays….the weather was warm enough to swim every day 🤗

I'm in Melbourne, looking to move to Queensland cuz of the wonderful weather. Would like to ask how did u manage with the humidity in Queensland moving from Melbourne? Queensland pros and cons vs Melbourne?

Hi mk mk 🤗 That sounds like a great idea for a video! It took us a couple of years to get used to the humidity. When we moved to the Sunshine Coast from Melbourne, it was November and the weather was very warm. By December the humidity kicked in and we had to buy air conditioning because back then, a lot of homes in Sth East Qld didn’t have it. We got through our first summer by swimming almost every day. Our children wore the summer school uniform in their first winter here because it did take over a year to acclimatise. Nowadays, we still don’t like the humidity……but fortunately, it’s only really humid for two to 3 months every year. We don’t miss the cold Melbourne winters but we do miss the differences like having four seasons in Melbourne and the Autumn leaves. Autumn in Melbourne is sensational and whilst Melbourne has cold winds, we do have tropical storms.
