I love how R* gave them immersive details and they somewhat look like actual tactical teams, instead in San Andreas, randomly run around and shoot MACs sideways like gangsters.
I really like on how they move around in GTA 5 if they see a rock they crouch, move a little bit and lean to get a perfect position to engage its target. Also they stay behind their wounded taking cover while the wounded is using a pistol and the guy that is covering him is using a rifle or a shotgun. Players dont pay attention that much.
Agree. In GTA IV, you could also crouch. Another thing in GTA IV is if you shoot a Pistol, Shotgun, Assault Shotgun, and Advanced Sniper, you can do a Rapid Fire exploit.
GTA 4 noose are more diverse and realistic looking, the sliding is awesome edit: I clearly separated the realistic and sliding part so I don’t get why some of yall getting all sad bout it ;)
Well if we add very few of better things from gta v(getting wounded and climbing buildings at times) and tear gas usage we will get perfect ai for Swat/noose

GTA 6 cops need to be more realistic ⭐ a cop car or two pull up and check everything out. Not instructed to fire directly at the player. If too close they will taze you. ⭐⭐three cop cars will pull up to evacuate civilians and they will urge you to surrender and only engage in suppresive fire. ⭐⭐⭐police will show up with choppers. They will throw tear gas and will shoot the player if neccesary. They will also attempt to set up roadblocks to keep you from escaping. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Police are instructed to wound or kill you unless surrender. NOOSE is also called and they will arrive in armored trucks and annihilators like in GTA IV. They will use 9 bangers and tear gas and full auto weapons. They will also try to flank the player and overwhelm them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐U.S. Marshalls will appear and be the only faction fighting you and police will surround the area keeping civilians at bay. NOOSE APCs will arrive and snipers will be on buildings. All units are instructed to kill you. They look similar to military and act similar to NOOSE but are 3x more aggressive and are far better trained. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The National Guard/Military are called. Soldiers, tanks, and attack helicopters will attack you until you are killed. Also not all units will use the same car. Some police or sheriffs will use police pick up trucks, SUVs, and even random cars with sirens as many local police, constables, etc. have there own personal vehicle. The military units will use Humvees (more accurate than the jeeps used at Fort Zancudo) Weapon ideas (Police) Kimber Warrior 1911 (Classic pistol from GTA III) Mossberg 590 Shotgun M4A1 Assualt rifle (semi auto) (NOOSE/FIB) M4A1 MP5/k MP7 Beneili M1014 Shotgun M203 Tear gas launcher M21 (National Guard) M16A2 M4A1 M72 Law M2 Browning M249 Saw The Law will also look and act different depending on your character in both story and online. Maybe even in what part of the map, like in more rural or bad areas such as downtown LS, Vespucci beach, Blaine County, Paleto, Alderney, Dukes, and Las Venturas the police will be more likely to be more aggressive. But in Vinewood, Broker, Vice, San Feairro, Agonquin, Ludendorff, etc. Police are more friendly. There will also he cops with different hairstyles, personalities, some fit others overweight and more than 2 outfits. I would also like to point out to people in the replies that for nostalgic reasons I would like to have the 1911 return as a standard pistol in the game from GTA 3, VC, and SA. And due to Rockstar lacking realism in GTA 5 with AK47 type rifles used by the U.S. Military aswell as designing ingame weapons with combinations of different guns, does it really matter?
The direct Military can't engage in such a action, the National Guard might be able to though. More realistic idea would be what GTA 4 did, FIB agents start arriving on the scene to assist NOOSE.
In GTA 5 if you lead the police helicopter air unit for a very long chase like driving around the state/map the dispatcher will announce that the helicopter needs to refuel and then it will fly away

GTA IV cops received better training than GTA V cops I love how they actually stop pedestrians they see commiting crimes and don't shoot until you have a 2+ star wanted level
One more minor thing about gta V noose: if they’re chasing you with their suv and you shoot one of the guys on the side he’ll fall off and if still alive the car will pull over to let him get back on
I didn't even know they could have such amount of varied guns and the NOOSE tactics were something amazing. Definitely missed all of these details (of course, while trying to escape lol) really liked the video :)
If I recall correctly the reason gta iv had better physics was because they had to simplify some aspects of it to get it to run more smoothly in gta v because there was so much other stuff already in the game.
Rockstar didn't even try on character models in GTA 5 Smh🤦 Edit: I'm saying as in GTA 4 there were different models for the Noose but GTA 5 just had like 2
Hey, they had to make the models less detailed, AI less detailed for GTA Online (since GTA V is a core for GTA Online xD). Also the AI needed to be annoying so they can make missions with harder cops so kids will steal their parents credit card to buy shark card to buy a stupid car skin. xD Don't take it serious
Main cause i blame it on is GTA V being confined to ps3 and x360's limitations. Tho they could fix lots of that for nextgen and pc....and they didnt......and till today they still didnt even try to fox some of glaring issues of gta v. Theybare lazy af with this. Especially when we consider how much money it earned them
@@Kacpa2 Rockstar Games worked five years on Grand Theft Auto V they remade Los Santos from scrap made it bigger and added a new city. Rockstar games worked hard on the voice acting, charactors, story, small details, jokes, side missions, A.I, sound affects, animations, graphics, ragdoll, car physics, ways to entertain the player, a new story (ONLINE), ONLINE, charactor models, weather, and just so much more and you call Rockstar Games lazy.

the police in GTA4 were considerd to be pretty difficult to deal with at one point. I heard it was their intent to make the cops easier for the casual players in GTA5
Wouldn't surprise me if that was their intention. After playing GTA IV for so long and then picking up GTA V, the police always felt watered down to me.
Strange because I remember when GTA 5 came out back in 2013 most of the memes were compared the GTA V cops being super special forces with good aim and GTA IV cops being dumb and with awful aim

You get out, the helicopter is ALREADY on you and if you need to get out to fight, half your HP and armor is shredded in just the exiting animation. Its funny because in the same game when u kill the driver of a gangster with 2 people the other just gets out and tries to chase u on foot. Therefore the gangs have more feelings than cops
That's cause in GTA 4 they behave like real cops (should be) and they aim to arrest you before having to kill you. In GTA 5 they don't give a fuck to keep you alive they just want you dead.

I thought it was strange how NOOSE units in 4 always crouch, but it made them unique at least. Also cool is how the 3* Patriots are driven by regular cops but armed with assault rifles.
They aren't armed with assault rifles, they are: If overweight cops: Driver - pistol Passenger - pistol If fit cops: Driver - pistol Passenger - Pump Shotgun

Actually the tactics are better in gta5 they're going to different angles to surround you instead of attacking together, but yeah cops are harder to beat in gta5 (kinda logic because they're trained)
@Persephone kajira you gta 4 fanboys are why I have a hard time appreciating gta 4. You feed off of gta 4 like it's your mother. Every gta game has their pros and cons, but you choose to ride off nostalgia and treat gta 5 like it's a whole dumpster fire. Gta 4 cops weren't all that smart. Take off the nostalgia glasses.

They might have more variety on models and little details (like dissarming them) in GTA IV, but in V you can see that they´re smarter and have more ways of dropping reinforcements (also they look cool at the side of the SUV)

About the cops stealing cars to chase you, for some reason I had a cop chasing me in a fire truck when doing the Cargobob setup for the Merryweather Heist, pretty ridiculous!!!
I haven't found it in single player, but in online I have found enforcers at two police stations so far. The one in sandy shores and the one near the impound in Davis. The second one will result in a wanted level because you have to trespass to get it

Watching these videos makes me miss GTA 4 alot. If I had a PC & could get mods for the game (since I played the crap out of it in console) my GTA 4 experience could be enhanced and I'd have even more fun :,3 I appreciate this video & all that you make 👍🐄
The thing here is, both games put attention to detail in different parts. While GTA IV had better personal tactics and more attention to gear (Several weapons on an officer, crouching, sticking to better cover, sliding, rolling, more headgear) The GTA V NOOSE had better overall tactics. (Tear Gas, More angles to get you from, the rappeling and helicopter landing.) All in all, I'd say both of the forces combined would be a mess on one hand, but great in tactics on the other.
Physics on gta iv is better...but gta v is wanted to not fail when gta iv is out because the game was so fail...if you play on ps3 you knew it..but online make rockstar different

Yeah,I like to use the creator mode to make captures and watch various factions (cops or NOOSE vs some gang, military or Merryweather vs the Professionals, Families vs Ballas or Vagos, The Lost vs those motocross bikers or the O'Neil gang, etc.) fight 10 vs 10,seeing what they'll do,are there any differences in the ways military, NOOSE, Merryweather and the Professionals fight compared to untrained gangs,are there any differences if they're set as aggressive or defensive, how they fight depending on how much cover is around, etc.
Virgin GTA V NOoSE: Blood-crazed fanatics, that will rush you no matter what, with little regard for their lives, poorly trained, even worse equipped (PASGT helmets, really?), totally underarmed. Chad GTA IV NOoSE: Careful professionals that stick to cover and retreat when wounded, work with great cohesion, have good training, modern tactical equipment of various range, as well as a variety of weapons to deal with all sorts of targets in different combat enviroments.
@@AreGeeBeeWell, a skilled player can mow down just about anything effortlessly - after all game devs DON'T program bots to "win" - just to give a fair fight. And believe me, no matter how skilled you are, if bots were actually programmed to kill you - you won't last.
@@AreGeeBee Yeah except in GTA IV they actually have tangible body armor you have to work through thats on top of their HP. In GTA V body armor doesnt seem to exist even for SWAT. Everyone goes down like they're just wearing T-Shirts. I hope going off the quality of the Law Enforcement system in RDR2 they finally make the system what it should be, and hopefully cops and especially SWAT having tangible body armor is one of those.
Nilda Manansala in IV it is very hard to get to 2 stars. They will try to arrest you. In gta V its enough that you drive for a city block and then stop and they are already shooting at you non stop and will not arrest

Maybe they don't have time to pick up the weapon again and they lose time trying to pick up the weapon from the ground because they know that you have a weapon and they think if they try to get back their weapon,they would be shot so easy and fast so is more easy grab the weapon that they have on them to cover from the threat so more fast and shoot at the threat more fast I don't think they want to die for trying to get a fucking weapon on the ground and Its not that they will risk their life for Getting back their Weapon From the Ground (That's What I Think)
Unusable because either the weapon got shot and therefore isn’t functional anymore, or because you shot their hand which makes it difficult to use one handed
