Nah, I'm with Papa Palpatine on this one. "Do it!" Cause I'm honestly tired of this "but you'll be just as bad, but you're the hero BS." Thawne has killed almost every member of Barry's family at this point and the only reason he gets them back sometimes is sheer luck. He's a psycopath that has and devoted his life to specifically hurting Barry and his family. Knock it off with the self-righteous BS because it just got his wife killed. AGAIN.

Can we all agree Grant's acting was off the chain! When he yelled at Cecile that was wonderful, she needs to understand his pain. Also I loved when Nora dismissed Cecile and said let us talk to our dad a moment. Nora seems so shook when Barry yelled "he killed Iris" man I could feel that so good such good acting.

Seeing Barry this angry made me have flashbacks of when Zoom killed Barry's father in Season 2. I've never seen Barry this ready to kill an enemy.

That cold face that Barry makes when Bart asks him "you still wanna kill him, don't you?" is priceless for this show.

Cecile (and to an extent Chester and Allegra) GENUINELY killed this show. It's absolutely outstanding. What blackmail did she have on Eric Wallace that he felt the need to essentially shift the ENTIRE show until all characters and stories revolved around her and her ever changing clusterfuck of meta powers?? What is even her role here? What does she contribute to the team besides constantly undermining Barry and using her "powers" to state the painfully obvious??

"If you kill him you'll be just as bad as he is!" I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense, he obviously wouldn't be anywhere near as bad. If he kills Thawne he's not just going to start running around killing every villain he sees, Central City is in America so I assume Thawne warrants a death sentence anyway (why that hasn't been carried out is beyond me), Oliver Queen killed a whole bunch but he's still seen as a hero (sure, maybe that's because he stopped killing, but in that case I refer you back to my first point), it's just a weak ass justification to not deal with the obvious threat. See, if the stance was that they firmly believed that killing under any circumstance was wrong, then sure, I'd buy that. But "if you kill 1 serial killer then that makes you just as bad as the serial killer" is stupid logic. The Flash isn't like Batman; he's of a healthy enough mind, and has a good enough support system surrounding him that he could cross that line and never cross it ever again AND even successfully convince others to not make the same choice he did.

You can see the anger & pain in his eyes,when he said,’because I am’ & when he yelled,’ he killed Iris’… Nora got spooked for a minute.

a good flash scene is rare to come by these days, too bad it was immediately followed up by cecile being useless once again and telling everyone how barry’s feeling as if we can’t tell 💀

What the hell! The acting that Grant did in this scene was so good. You can see the anger in Barry's facial expressions and the temptation he has to kill Thawne. Props to Grant.

Say what you will about this show over the last couple seasons, but Grant Grustin's Barry has truly evolved throughout the whole show. This Barry here is a looooong ways away from the Barry we met way back in Arrow days, just incredible acting on Grant's part. You can tell in his physical motions and attitude that he IS the Flash and really wants to play that role strong. Fuck Ezra Miller, this is the only Flash actor out there that deserves any attention. I hope he keeps up this experienced quality throughout season 9 too, Barry needs some time to absolutely shine.

Idk why Cecile feels like she has the right to use her powers on Barry like no shit he’s furious but does she really think constantly telling Barry (who is the team leader) what to do and how to feel is gonna make anything better, in real life if your angry right after something bad happened and your mom or dad tells you to claim down you think you gonna claim down just like that no you need time not someone telling you how to react

i love how the writers legit forgot that barry used to kill people earlier in the show. and im not even talking about indirectly getting them killed like with zoom, im talking flat out killing. i still remember when he was first learning to throw lightning he hit someone and the guy straight up exploded. and now he keeps letting his sworn enemy live over and over again so that he can hurt more people. its like his character is regressing

I can already see how things will go, Barry will try and resurrect iris and it might work and if it does Caitlin won’t find it fare, and than in season 9 killer frost will be resurrected but without a new body leading to Caitlin staying as killer frost when they end the show

Anyone else notice the throwback to the Season 1 finale with Eobard up against the van. Looked exactly like RF before Eddie shot himself. Even said something similar when he was threatening the rest of the Flash family.

The recent three or four episodes have been so amazing I felt like I was watching a whole new series almost. It's like they have all new writers or a producer pushing it in a much better direction. I was just about to completely give up on this series when it got better all of a sudden
