Nora McInerny is my favorite speaker. She embodies the clear path to going through grief and sorrow without feeling bad.

I think she’d say- you don’t move through it , it comes with you.

"Take your time. Your pain also is holy. There is deep meaning in feeling your loss. Pain is not for self-improvement, you are going to come out of this different. You are allowed to just exist for a while. Take some time to figure out who you are now. It's all going to take a while. Not everybody will care. Not everybody is going to be your person for everything. When they disappear it is becuse of THEIR emotional capabilities. It hurts when those who you depend on can't. You don't have to "bleed out" for everybody. Some people aren't worth it. Remembering things with them and for them is comforting. Grief leaves us in new circumstances, we are all amateurs. 100% of us die. Grief has no expiration date. It's perfectly normal if it still hurts. As long as you are making yourself a priority. It's not "time that heals all wounds," it's how your spend your time." "I believe we have a sacred responsibilty to live fully in the face of our losses." "Accepting and feeling and processing through that pain. it sucks too. Both are true." "We all suffer in different times, and now it's your time." Thank you.
