I played Freddy in my college’s production of DRS. When I knew that the role won Norbert the Tony for Best Actor, it felt such an honor to play a role with such dignity, commitment, and excitement. Freddy changed my life forever. I’m very happy that I played a Tony-winning role.

Ouch. Bernadette pronounced John Lithgow's name wrong and you could see him cringe.

divine intervention. Why is it that people believe they are so special that god has time out of his busy day to intervene in their lives. God created life, he doesn't control it.

devin roberts I think it was mostly a joke ... although hey if you believe in God why not say God controls life. In fact ... in a way that makes more sense than your opinion. "God has time out of his busy day" ... so an omnipotent God is pushed for time?

Hmmm, not 'control', per se, more like influence, or allow. He does control everything, even life, but he does not control our choices, talents, or words. He knows them all, yet permits them to be done/happen/be said/be given to us/take place in our lives. But not as one would control robots. There are reasons to the things He or a person does, why He or said person does them or why God even allows them, and when. Also, I believe that God always has time for His children, regardless of whether they deem themselves to be 'special' or not. Whatever definition this world throws at you is irrelevant, all we must know is that God is always fair, and is never, ever too busy for anyone. I think what NLB is saying is that he actually doesn't think he's that special, and so God has to have had a hand in him winning this award. At least, that's what I believe and how I see it. :) Don't know if all that rambling made sense; it did in my head, but everyone has their opinion, right? And that's okay, as long as we keep it humble, not preaching in people's faces or anything. :)
