What's REALLY incredible about this to me is the Bassist and drummer....... even the guitar player. They played all of these sessions the SAME day!!!! Professionalism at its best!
Theprofessor2u, super talented musicians at play here. So many different styles of music at that, and yet that rhythm section played with the various lead artists effortlessly! 👏
Awesome musicians who stayed in the pocket! That's why it's important for these young cats out there to learn many different styles to open up more gigs and sessions opportunities for them.
KingJames3000, agreed, Parris was a great talent. I'm sure that heaven is rockin' with him and so many other amazingly talented musicians. May he R.I.H. and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. 🙏
I'm still learning and I've been going at by ear here and there over the years. My grandmother , Mrs. Amy Brown from Pulaski, TN taught me coming up from a child where there was no RU-vid sessions or tutorials. I use to watch when Im around it and take note from ppl I thought was good.. I've always loved music and I find myself playing along with these sessions and it's taking my playing to another level that I knew I could reach. I'm able to actually IDENTIFY the THEORY a little more. I'm a hands on learner and these are future legends I feel like I'm playing with. Thanks TRIBUTE TO MRS AMY BROWN .. MY GRANDMOTHER ❤ SHE'S 83 AND CAN STILL PLAY
There's a Shawn Brown out of St Petersburg/Tampa Bay area of Florida, killing player with a great left hand and amazing vocals as well. check him out if you ever get a chance. Shout out to your grandmother
Just amazing how you stumble on great artists for the 1st time. So George Duke like, which was a fav of mine. Found this by checking out Nord.....wow, what an instrument.
Is there a love button?! I’m fully committed and a “like” just won’t justify how I truly feel about this. Good to see Parris blessing the keys one more time. RIP to the MoG.
ofc nord will sound premium but imho tone is in the hands. also, that Yamaha is a decent keyboard! I had a Casio CTK-495 for the longest with no touch sensitivity lol.
Just incredible......I stumbled on this while searching for a replacement for my aging Motif ES6. the music and playing has just taken my breath away. As previously commented I could not be more in awe at the drums, bass and guitar. Nord? You made a sale!
So good! does anybody know what's the drawbar "setup" of the first part of the organ organ on Joseph Pryor feat. Glenn Gibson Jr - "Blues Blast"? newbie on hammond and that sound is so good!
