Wow, I have learned so much about this board...I've watched a bunch of videos, but I love your approach! Been struggling with organ splits myself, might have to get a slave board like you mentioned! Great idea!! Great video about song mode too. Thanks!
Just bought one and have been thinking about the best way to set up my “go-to” sounds. You explained it plainly with song mode! Thanks for this video. ✊🏾
This is the best video you have dropped by far these layers video will get you more subscribers I am a subscriber as of today looking for more great content like this as well
Hi bro if you want to hear only the sound of a single panel, press both panel A and panel B at the same time, it then toggles between them. No reason to shut off every instance inside a panel in order to just hear one of them;-)
Hey Vaughn, You are a natural at teaching & making the complex simple. Love the sounds you’ve created! Hey Ive owned a Nord Piano 3 for a couple years now doing some recording which I’ve loved but long for more piano/synth layered sounds which the you know NP3 is limited. Your opinion: Should I buy a NS3 88 key now or wait till spring 2021 Namm to see if Nord comes out with a NS3 EX which is what my Nord Tech says is likely scheduled to be offered. Hard to wait but Nord may include more memory and other enhancements on the Stage 3 EX. What say you? Have you heard anything about what’s planned? Thank you for sharing! Jeff G
Bless you man! I haven’t heard anything about the NS3 EX but I might have to cop one. If they are coming out with one buy it then. If not buy the existing one. The thing is you have the make the board YOUR OWN! You won’t need a lot of those programs that come equipped unless you play a lot of covers etc
Correction: Korg Kronos has smooth seemless transitions thru different sounds. He said no other board does that. Don't sleep on that Kronos. I'm still on the fence about these Nord boards. I love their pianos, but thats where it stops for me.
Nah. Ya both wrong! He talking about playing live, tweaking the sound live (not simply playing an already saved patch!), THEN switching programs. NO other board can do that without cutting off the sound that you just tweaked. If you play already saved programs, sure, Roland and Korg can keep the sound going till you play the new program. But if you edit/tweak that program on the fly, it’ll cut it off the moment you switch programs. Nord has this on lockdown and smashes those boards - facts.
@@TheGospelUniversity based of this response... So you don't feel like you're missing anything as far as not having 88keys? The weight and feel of the 73 waterfall keys wouldn't bother a mostly piano player like myself? Im just in between getting the 88 or 73
