Here's a quick tip about using copy/paste on the front panel. You can use this great time-saver for programs and even for layers! It's really handy.

Keeper coming. NO ONE is really doing short tutorials.......not even NORD. I really appreciate it and I'm sure once the word gets out about your videos a lot more will also appreciate it as well.

Thanks John! I noticed that too. I have a few more quick tips recorded ... I just need a minute to edit and publish. Next up I'm going to edit a video explaining my process from start to finish with the new rock band I'm working with. It's gonna be fun.

Different NS4 topic, but if anyone knows a quick answer it will be you! Haven't I seen somewhere that you can Pan right or left for an individual Layer A or B within a Program? It seems like I saw it in some kind of a menu selection controlled with the center screen, but with an almost hidden way to get at it . . . or did I just dream this up in my sleep? It wouldn't be of much use for playing live, since I totally agree with your (other) video about mono-a-mono output -- but could be nice when recording things in stereo. Thanks, //Hank

great tutorial! What if I just want to copy & paste let's say the strings but leave the piano alone?

Yea man - after you press the copy button, just choose one of the layers (strings) and then do the paste to a new layer or patch. Obviously piano sounds can only be pasted in the piano section, but that copy/paste function works in all kinds of cool places.

Love your tutorials. I tried the copy/paste, but it will copy but will not paste. When pasting to the selected, empty program of my choice, it goes to what ever the sub button is for example shift + paste + whatever program button I selected that corresponds to that program button 5 but it will give me the output information, but will not paste to G15. I hope that makes sense

Thanks Jay. I'm not sure I understand what's happening. Any chance you could show me in a video? Anyone else have any suggestions?
