"The Nordco TRIPP offers power, speed and reliability for tie handling applications. The TRIPP can remove and insert ties from either side of the mainframe with a full 86-inch stroke. Force of tie extraction is 20,700 pounds; tie insertion is 12,900 pounds. The gripper force is adjustable to prevent damage to new ties during installation. A climate-controlled and ergonomically designed cab provides comfort to the operator while offering excellent visibility and ease of operation, the company says, adding that the machine's modular design makes components accessible and easy to maintain.
