I did this for several months back in 1986 or 87 taking the Battle Group R&R From the Dam, upstream from Nordegg, into Rocky Mountain House in 4 & half days. got out just after the rail bridge. brought back some wonderful fond memories that did. Was there a Grizlie's corner? I remember devils elbow & Brierleys rapids. eating in the Dairy queen & dancing in the disco too. Anyone know Richard Smith, now a retired RCMP search master? We helped out looking for a missing missionaries son on the sunchild Indian reserve back then.
